I had the Thai Pineapple Fried Rice with shrimp, cashew nuts, fresh pepper, egg and shrimp. I was thoroughly surprised when my dish came served in an actual pineapple! So creative! I thought that the dish would not be enough to fill me up, but again I was surprised when I asked for a doggy bag to go. The dish was tasty and the pineapple was a delightful addition. Oh, and its also a BYOB. Will be bringing some wine next time!

I can't get enough of Sunshine Restaurant! Located in the heart of North Philly, this local Spanish restaurant is definitely a place to visit! This neighborhood spot is truly a hidden gem.

Hands down, the pizza dishes at In Riva are its highlights! This brick oven Margherita pizza was very yummy. The homemade tomato sauce was very earthy and flavorful. The herbs and mozzarella were also satisfying. If you're going to visit, definitely go during happy hour. In total, my bill was less than $15! Can't beat that! Also, one pizza is good for two people!

The Indian Pancake appetizer was the star of the show. The pancake is light and fluffy and the sauce is oh so yummy. Very warming dish.

The lobster was nearly the length of half of my arm! The plate too was enormous. The lobster tasted exceptional and was flavored in a sort of garlicky seasoning. I also ordered House Fries which were also very good. My spouse ordered the Cedar Plank Carolina Trout which was also very meaty and delicious.

I had the Cajun Salmon BLT. It tasted very good. Unlike a regular BLT that leaves you feeling overstuffed, the Salmon BLT was light and satisfying. Where are the fries, you might ask? No fries this time. Instead, my sandwich was served with a green apple--just like the name of the restaurant! To drink, I had the Green Soul Green Smoothie. It had a very intense green apple flavor as well as bananas, pears, dates, collards, and mangoes.

I had the Spicy Chicken dish and the thigh was served with this green spicy sauce overtop. It was too good to be true.
