Flight of the Gibbon you soar thru the sky no fucks given a sparkle in your eye.
Durian Rider we want to thank you for showing us how to be strong.
You see most of our lives we were lost and could not find a role model to trust or believe in or understand. Witness to fake fiction and propaganda, layering on trauma like a dysfunctional sandwich, sifting thru endless bullshit for truth.
When we first heard your rants we knew you were real and no fucks would be given.
You are teaching us to harden the fuck up and be strong by eating plants and making a stand for what we believe in.
Truth is in every word and ego under total control as you troll away.
You have aced the game thru much pain now brave like a hero sharing it with the world. Eating right is a big part, still the inner game is a key skill you have mastered. A lions courage you have Durian Rider and bless you for not giving a shit about who cares. Victim or a hero the choice is ours every second, every day, every min, every hour, now thats giving us some real power.
The forests are the lungs of the earth lets put them first and expand their presence and give this planet a chance for rebirth. Swinging Freelee thru the jungle no fucks given just wanted to say good on ya and thanks for being a crazy Aussie Durian Rider.

Introduction

I was asked to answer the below questions for a homework assignment my daughter had about my profession which is staffing. Thought it might make a good introduction here.

What did you want to be growing up?

I wanted to be like the Fonz on Happy days he was my idol. I also loved Rocky Balboa and wanted to be like him as a kid. Both made a big impression on me  because they were good guys who still could be cool.

What was your first job?

I washed antiques in a store when I was seven years old. I was so proud to have earned some money. I remember how my parents reacted to me getting paid for doing work it was a great feeling and a great memory.

What made you apply for this type of job?
I had a friend invite me into the recruiting industry, at the time it sounded like a good fit so I took his advice and interviewed for the job. I have been working in this field since 1998.

If you could have any other job, what would it be?

Beach Volleyball player or coach. I would also like to learn and teach Permaculture (which is a fancy word for natural organic farming) to people in need of food.  I have a dream called "Volleyball Farm" where both of my passions could be combined to help people who need some direction in their lives.

What kind of schooling did you have to complete in order to land this job?

I attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay University in NYC. A degree is required to be considered for most Recruiting jobs.

Favorite and least favorite things about your job?

I love the feeling of helping someone get a job, most people are really grateful and I feel as if I am helping out in a small way. Least favorite is the rejection from the hiring mangers that say no to the candidates who really want the job. There is lots of rejection in a Recruiting role sometimes up to 80%. The 20% success is what keeps you going.

What kind of opportunities does your job offer you?

I have been involved in training our HR partners on a software system called Taleo. I enjoy training/teaching so this has been a great opportunity for me.
I am learning new things all the time around social networking and how to work with open source social communication which has been energizing. Also beginning to understand the front end technologies better e.g. HTML5, WebServices, Java J2EE, AIP, customer facing applications, Media, streaming, Web Players, Mobile apps,
