I'm having a pretty bad day.   Me and my long-time girlfriend decided to finally tie the knot.  We went down to the county clerk's office and told them how our love of seafood, especially shrimp and crabs, helped us form a bond of love that is stronger than anything we've ever known and we feel it will form a great backbone for our marriage.

She's just looked at us with disdain in her eyes, called us "Godless!" and then kicked us out without granting us a marriage certificate.  What's up with that?

Game of Thrones fever is running high with the season 5 premiere so close. If you don't have a way to watch it and you have an iPad... then you have a way to watch it! For free!

Apple's new watch is set to light the wearable technology industry on fire if it can get past these six missing features.

The iPad can be a great device, but it can also be very daunting to use for those who haven't discovered all of the little tricks to getting the most out of it.

I share this not because what Peter Capaldi did was generous, though it was, but because the article's title correctly names him "The Doctor" and not "Doctor Who", as 99.95% of other articles name him.
Not content to save the world on television, Peter Capaldi is also a founding member of a charity for the homeless.

I know we are going to hear about it all week, but I'm sick of the non-pass interference call in the Lions game being referred to as some type of game changer.   It didn't take points off the scoreboard.  It didn't rob them of a first down.  Stafford through a poor pass to a receiver that wasn't complete and wasn't going to be complete no matter if Hitchens bumped him a little or not.   All the picking up of the flag did was mean that the Lions didn't get a do over after a bad play.

The Lions still would have needed to score, which they hadn't been doing much of in the second half.  They still had the opportunity to stop Dallas, which they didn't.  They had plenty of time to drive down for a game winning touchdown at the end, but they didn't.

I understand Lions fans feeling ripped off, but at the end of the day, the Cowboys won the game with their play on the field.   I understand the media looks at it like a gift from heaven that they can write about all day, but the real story of the game was the Lions punching the Cowboys in the mouth during the first half and the Cowboys getting up off the mat.

I agree with almost every point in this one.  I do disagree about Series 6, which I thought was easily as good (and at some points, better) as Series 5, but Series 7 took a sharp turn for the worse and it has gone quickly down from there.   Really wish Moffat would move on.

Here's a must-have tip for all PC users that use the Google Chrome browser to enable volume muting in individual tabs:

Type (or copy and paste) the following in Chrome's address bar: chrome://flags/#enable-tab-audio-muting

On the next screen, click the "Enable" link under "Enable  tab audio muting UI control"

Once you do this, you can click the speaker icon in a browser tab to mute that tab.   With so many websites thinking it is okay to automatically play videos or run video ads, this feature is a great way to save on noise pollution.

I don't understand how a school continues to employ this less-than-a-man.

Short answer: I wouldn't really worry about it just yet.
A new study suggests the use of eBook readers and tablets such as the iPad could have a negative effect on our sleep. But should we change our habits?

Much like they've been saying for at least 20 years (probably longer) staring at a lightsource before bed is probably gonna cause sleep issues, be it a 1950's TV, a 1990's PC, or a 2014 eReader.
