One of my favorite downtown places. The food, drink and service are consistent and the happy hour specials cannot be beat. It's a good place to bring out of town visitors when hanging out in Dirty Sixth. The tequila selection is impressive and my favorite drink is the Mexican Martini.

Graham's is a nice nook to get a drink and listen to music. The place is clean and well kept and the staff is great. The drink selection is standard for this part of the world and the company is pleasant.

Cenote is a warm, comfortable and welcoming new hangout on the East Side. A nice selection of reasonably priced noms, beer, wine and cocktails combined with homey decor and a great deck makes for a relaxing evening out with friends or family.

Roadhouse Relics is one of my favorite spots in Austin because it's so darn funky, quirky and Austin weird. The owner is a neon artist and the inside of the building is filled with dynamic art pieces. The building is also home to the iconic Austin mural which was recently restored. The mural is a favorite place for photos for tourists and locals alike. The space also hosts First Thursdays music events that are open to the public and I plan to catch one as soon as possible.

Last week was my first time visiting this location and my daughter and I had a pleasant first experience with them. The staff was helpful and accommodating to my daughter because it was her first time renting a car. Company expectations were clearly explained and the price was excellent.

This coffee shop is tastefully Spartan in it's decor, but still provides a comfortable place to sip coffee or beer and read, study or use your computer. South First Street boasts a number of high quality coffee shops in close proximity to each other and this fact makes for some creativity;therefore, Once Over has the Smallest Dog Park in the front yard. You will have to check it out for yourself.

Mindzai Creative is an interesting place to visit because it is a print shop and an art gallery. The space is located in a converted storage facility like building and the concrete floors and metals walls hearken back to its former incarnation. The staff produces high quality printed goods including clothing such as t-shirts. They do custom jobs varying from business cards to banners. I have attended a number of art openings at this place and have enjoyed each one. I would highly recommend this business if one is looking for printing services and to see some unique urban art.
