Platte City is the county seat as well as the "heart" of the county due to it's central location. It's remenicient of "Mayberry", but don't let it's quaint, home-town charm fool you. Platte City is one of the fastest growing towns in Platte County. With its award-winning school district, new neighborhoods to suit any budget, quality parks and shopping, Platte City "has it all".

Riverside, Missouri, incorporated in 1951, is our southern-most town and lies just minutes north of downtown Kansas City. Once the home of the famous "Riverside Park Race Track", it now claims the fabulous Argosy Casino Hotel Spa as it's own. Riverside offers top notch schools, annual events such as "Riverfest" and the "Scottish Highland Games" and boasts Kansas City icons "The Corner Cafe" renown for their down-home cooking and homemade pies, and "The Red X" General Store which sells everything from hardware to groceries to tobacco, and offers one of the most extensive wine inventories in the entire metro area.
