hi, the news yesterday was disturbing as once again human life was treated cheaply and and live itself is diminished by loss. all human live matters including animals. i believe 1 of our biggest mistake as Americans is the start closing down the state mental health hospitals except for the criminally insane. please don't misunderstand me we still need prisons however there are far to many mentally ill walking the streets in a free country.

Single living in Gladstone,MO.,U.S.A.. I am a former nurse of 20 years. Currently I work with antique and collectibles.
This thrift store run by all volunteers with a Catholic Nun in charge. The furniture is in front and reasonably priced. I have found antique and collectible glassware very reasonable priced. I used can find some treasure each time I visit. The average age of the volunteers in the back room is 75 years.

THIS THRIFT STORE IS AT THE TOP OF MY LIST. RUN BY VOLUNTEERS 100%. A PROFESSIONAL APPRAISES THE JEWELERY FOR FREE SO THE PRICE IS CORRECT. ALL DONATIONS ARE EVALUATED AND IF THEIRS AN EXCESS OF DONATIONS THEY ARE GIVEN TO ANOTHER THRIFT STORE. THE STORE IS SMALL HOWEVER THE QUALITY IS HIGH. THEY HAVE ROTATING SALES. THEIR MISSION IS POSTED IN FULL OUTSIDE THE STORE AND THEY ARE DEDICATED TO ASSIST THE NORTH LAND COMMUNITY 100%. A VISIT TO THIS STORE IS A TREASURE HUNT AND DELIGHT. I PICKED UP A FENTON ART GLASS TOOTHPICK MILK GLASS HOLDER WITH RAISED LOGO IN PLACE FOR $2.00. THIS IS THE TYPE OF BARGAIN THAT CAN BE FOUND.
