Crabbies, makers of an alcoholic ginger beer, have been unveiled as the new sponsor of the Grand National and Aintree Festival for an initial three years from 2014. The previous sponsor, John Smiths, decided against renewing their sponsorship in 2013 after backing the race since 2005.

Grand National Specialist. National Hunt racing is my passion
Introduction
I have worked in horseracing/betting for many years for the likes of The Jockey Club, SIS and for various on course bookmakers.

I have been writing about racing since my time at SIS when I was asked to write for The Racing Channel.

I have worked for OLBG since 2006 and in that time I have written the majority of the content for Grand National Guide, Grand National Blog, Grand National Net and Cheltenham Betting Guide.

I have recently also started a general betting blog on OLBG
