Hands down, the best college preparatory school in St. Louis/Missouri. If you can afford to send your child here, you will not be disappointed by the yield: a well-rounded, intellectual and a lifelong lover of learning. MICDS is an institution that motivates through clear expectations and through excellent examples of leadership. Students at MICDS strive to perform to their full potential within a supportive environment that values individual attention and parent involvement. Instructors at MICDS are passionate, knowledgeable professionals dedicated to the MICDS mission. This, paired with an excellent administration, impressive endowment, unmatched athletic and academic facilities, proactive college counseling, a newly renovated campus, the professional success of alumni and their continued support of the school make it an obvious choice if affordable (or if you qualify for financial assistance) and if your child is intellectual gifted and willing to work very hard!

The school lacks in diversity. The admissions has to be open to accepting a more diverse student body. Not too impressed.

The lower school of MICDS is a great place to work and go to school. It has all the benefits of a large institution without losing the intimacy of a small elementary school.
