Great menu new specials very day. Food preparation and taste amazing . Salads very fresh and prepared with a flair. Whether you are in the restaurant or in the pub section the service is great. This spot has earned a great reputation. Steak Italian , Dishes or Fish all great. Nice size portions . You'll be happy you discovered this spot . Fun restaurant friendly staff will assure your happy with your entree. Prices are very reasonable.

I can totally understand why Basil wants to keep their small quiet dinning room child free, because I have been there having dinner when a family with little kids was sitting next to us . Let me tell you, it was NOT pleasant!! The parents of these 3 kids did NOTHING to try to control their loud obnoxious behavior!!! I tried to enjoy my meal while these kids ran to and from the bathroom acting like they were in a playground!!! The owner understood how upset my husband and I were about all the disruption around us, and apologized and even bought us drinks to try to make up for it. What's with these parents now days who obviously feel entitled to inflict their misbehaved children on others??? This is a restaurant, not a gym!!!

We sat in the bar area with two other couples where the Red Sox game was on the television. The waitress was incredibly rude. She told my 2 year old daughter to be quiet, when a Red Sox game was blaring and my child was laughing and talking. We split the bill with between the three couples and parted ways. Each family experienced stomach issues that evening from the food. When we reviewed our credit card statement at the end of the month, we found that our credit card was charged twice. We spent time speaking with the staff to recitfy the problem. The staff called us to tell us that until the couple that was not charged called and paid the bill, they would not reimburse us. It is unthinkable that this restaurant would have the audacity to charge us and ask us to be their collection agency before they would give us a refund for their mistake. My recommendation is that you not go to this restaurant and not trust the people that run it.

! The staff here really seem to care about you, the customer! It sounds, from the comment about kids before, that they don't tolerate kids but the truth is that they love kids! My little guys have always been well received but they do what they are told. They do NOT get to run roughshod over a dining room! Shouldn't we really be talking about the food? EXCEPTIONAL! Enough said!!! Bob, it sounds like you may have had a touch of the flu that was going around. Did you all eat the same thing? I have been here many times and have had pretty much everything on the menu and never ever had a bad experience! I have seen the kitchen too and it is spotless. Like I said, sounds like the flu more so than any reaction to the food especially if you all had different dishes.

Owner refused to seat my grand daughter and her parents in the dining room. Suggested they go to Lounge (Bar?). This restaurant discriminates against children. Many children eat out a often and are very well behaved. The owner prejudged my grand daughter! That is not fare! So, why do they have a children's menu? She obviously doesn't have children and or they aren't well behaved! Will pass the word on every chance I get! They left and went to Victoria' in Westwood and were extremely well received!
