Winter is an ideal time to enjoy oysters! There are seasonal differences in the flavor of an oyster, and they taste best out of cold water. We serve ours with Meyer Lemon Granita and English Cucumber Mignonette.
“I have been lucky enough to eat at Sorellina a few times over the past few years, and it is continually excellent in every regard. I can't talk about much of the menu because I always end up ordering the Maccheroncelli.” –via TripAdvisor

“Definitely dress up” to blend with the “chic crowd” frequenting this “outstanding” contemporary Italian in Back Bay, where chef Jamie Mammano offers “beautiful, mouthwatering dishes” in a “subdued, elegant” black-and-white setting; though “a little pricey”, it’s a “real class act” with “top-of-the-line” service sealing the deal.
This is a wonderful seafood spot. Great wine list, superb service, and outstanding cuisine. The menu is always reliable and there is never an off night. It's a bit of an urban, sophisticated NY feel, but it's perfect for couples or eating at the bar. The fried oysters are insanely good, as is the salt-crusted bronzino and roasted lobster. Probably
Arrived exactly on time but didn't find the welcome very welcoming. No other guests were in reception but after introducing ourselves we were just left standing there for several minutes. However from the time we were seated to the time we left we were captivated by this absolute jewel of a restaurant. The decor and atmosphere reminds me of movies...
Wow, Expected a great dinner and was totally disappointed.
Had 90 dollar truffle pasta that was served without the shavings in front of you ,the kitchen did it and it tasted like buttered pasta.
The service was horrible ,the top dish pasta with meatballs tasted like it was sitting in a pot for days.
It was the second and last time I will go there when I am visiting Boston.
My wife and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was unusually tasty without being too complicated, and unusually light for a gourmet restaurant. We had a very tasty, crunchy snow pea salad as well as oysters for appetizer, and then monkfish and sea bream, both prepared well for the main courses....
A delightful experience. A restaurant where the details are kept and admired! Fresh oysters combine with some tartare, started my evening. The branzino cook with a hard crust of salt in the oven; with olive oil and lemon highly highly recommended. It takes 30 minutes and is worth it!! Impecable service to the last detail! Good job!!
