Here's why warming up your car is actually hurting it. http://yhoo.it/1OWPgcC
For the last 26 years, Ciatti has worked on combustion engines — engines that generate power from burning fuel, like gasoline — and currently oversees all of the combustion engine work at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. To get straight to the point, Ciatti said that idling your car in the cold

Don't just own a vehicle, own the tools for it too! http://al.st/1YNfIdl
I’m a professional auto technician. As a result, I have tons of tools for car repair. But chances are, most gear-heads, tinkerers and do-it-yourselfers don't have access to such a variety of specialty tools. Knowing that, I’ve taken some time to come up with what tools every car owner might want to…

Not happy with the service department. Our power steering went out on our new car while we were in Noble visiting family for Christmas. They said they would order a new power steering module which would arrive at 8am the next day, but it not only didn't show up, but they couldn't find any evidence it was even ordered. We had to pay for an extra night in a motel and then drive all the way back to Utah with no power steering. Big help they were. What kind of dealer doesn't even have major parts for the vehicles it sells? Horrible customer service.

I had done all my homework online before I came to the dealership. I wanted a Tahoe or Yukon, and found exactly what I wanted before I arrived. I walked in and met with Scott Sattler, and we test drove a Yukon Denali. He did not pressure me or my wife, and really just explained everything about the vehicle. I was not in my vehicle so I could not get an accurate price on my trade. I came back a week later with my 2012 Ford FX4 EcoBoost to see what I could get for it on trade. I knew where I wanted to be, and Ferguson got to within $500 of my price. When I came in I was still not intending to make the purchase, and was just wanting them to tell me what I could get for my truck. I was not really pressured by the sales team, but they made some offers that I accept so I went ahead and bought the Yukon. They were all great to work with, and I look forward to referring business their way.

The dealership is great. Friendly people except for one thing. I was sold an extended waranty that I was told was the best in town. Well without mentioning any names, it's not! Do NOT buy their extended waranty. The vehicle i bought needs extensive repairs and the service department said they aren't going to cover but $1200 of it. I called the company and was told i was S.O.L. basically. The extended waranty is a huge joke to put it lightly.

My wife and I searched numerous vehicles before she decided upon the Buick Encore AWD Premium Model. We were both surprised at the zero-pressure sales attitude of the dealership and honest and professional customer service provided by our salesman: Mr. Shawn Welden, Mr. Rocky Gibson in Finance, and Mr. Brad Hornung the Sales Manager. From our initial visit to the date of purchase we were treated like family. In our opinion, that is the type of atmosphere and car dealership that will garner not only our repeat business but likely that of other customers as well!

Mike Armstead was a great sales person. No pressure, straight forward, and humble. The service department was friendly and willing to be helpful. We did have complications in finance, which could have stemmed from personality incompatibility. However, we eventually got it worked out.

I've worked with Jeff Arnold several times over the past year and he is one of the most professional and knowledgeable people in the business. When you're in the market for a new vehicle look him up, you won't be disappointed!

Had a service issue recently and Gary Burton the General Manager took care of it immediately. Great customer service! I would definitely recommend Ferguson to others.

I drove to buy a long bed Chevy diesel pickup from Ferguson they had advertised on auto trader. It had 215K miles on it. First thing I notice is there are OK Dot numbers that used to be on the side of the truck and noting on Auto check said anything about being registered as a commercial vehicle. Next I check the tires. The side walls are cracking from being dry and the tread is almost down to the wear indicator. The salesman tells me the truck past there safety inspection and then says his sales manager will give me back the $200 deposit I put on the truck. Stupid me I think he is giving me back $200 toward the tires. When I close the loan I come to discover he meant that if I didn't like the truck they would give me back my deposit. In hind site I should have taken my deposit and ran. I get new tires put on and try to get it aligned but there is $1000 in suspencion work that need to be done just to get it to pass a MO state vehicle inspection. I have the truck for one week and find out now that the motor is bad. I call Shawn in used cars and he tells me well you bought a 200K mile vehicle AS IS and that is what you got. So my warning is to all of you that go to Ferguson to buy a diesel truck take and oil sample to and get it analyzed. you may avoid the deal I got now I am looking at spending $6500 to $10,000 to get a motor in a or I could do an oil change and put some additive in the oil and trade it in.
