Be prepared to stand in line. They have the best vegan fast food I have ever had. Very high quality and inventive. Loved it and would stand in line for two hours to eat there again.

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in this restaurant. I came into town for one day only due to my job and Ubered ($15), there and back to my hotel. The food was horrible. It wasn't a very welcoming atmosphere as most vegetarian/vegan resturants are. I ordered the spinach lasagna, smoked greens, and yams :(. The spinach lasagna wasn't completely hot and the top layer of vegan cheese overpowered the entire dish,(it turned to mush) thumbs down!!The smoked greens were so bland; I asked for vinegar and hot sauce. The person behind the counter then advised me they had no hot sauce (what "soul food" resturant doesn't have hot sauce?? Even if you make it yourself ... I was baffled) and again thumbs down. Lastly, the yams were SOUR ( yes, I was completely confused) how in the world can you COMPLETELY destroy yams. Yams are the simplest dish in the history of "soul food." I should have known something was wrong when the cashier recommended the yams over the Mac & Cheese (no one on earth passes up Mac & cheese). When you choose to become vegan you don't forfeit FLAVOR, PRESENTATION, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. And then to sit in the restaurant while having to fan off huge flies. I absolutely hate wasting money and this WASN'T worth a penny. Mind you I'm of Jamaican and Cuban decent, everything was watered down ( flavor is extremely important)!! My advice: Hire a new cook, change the menu, and start from scratch!! Just AWFUL!!! Sincerely, the only honest review!!

The food, the owners, the atmosphere are awesome! Parking is a battle, but I'm sure that will come. Keep up the good work. Anytime my kids will clean a plate without picking through it, you have my stamp of approval!

Thank you so much for this great review, Oakland 1966. We are glad the kids enjoyed the food. Yes, parking can be a challenge at times, however, there is a parking lot across the street that's free for up to 30 minutes and a nominal charge thereafter. It may even be free on the weekends. Please check the posted rates. We look forward to seeing you and the kids again!

The Land of Kush has been one of my favorite go to vegetarian restaurants for years in Baltimore. Caribbean inspired, this food is seasoned and delicious. The curry "chicken" is good. The "ribs" are too. This isn't a vegetarian cuisine that you find everyday so when I am in the area I stop by and grab some food. You MUST try the cornbread. Definitely some of the best cornbread in town.

First time dining @ the Land of Kush. Ordered the vegan crab cakes, sides mac & cheese and cocount curry cabbage. Overall, not bad. However, both the mac & chees and cabbage were room temperature. I like my food hot. The vegan crab cakes were excellent. Will go again

Amazing! I've tried almost everything--my favorite is probably the crabcake. I wasn't especially fond of the "tuna salad" but maybe if it was served on bread. It's in a great location with excellent vegan fare, offering loads of options and generous portions all for a reasonable price.
