The food here was phenomenal. Don't go here expecting to get something cheap for dinner, but the quality of the food is decidedly worth the prices. My girlfriend and I both were very satisfied with everything we ate. The atmosphere is also very nice for a date night. Service was good, I suppose it could have been a tad better.

One of the best restaurants in the country. I eat here often and am always amazed by quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the food, the extraordinary service and comfortable atmosphere. I have eaten at many highly recommended restaurants both local and across the country - and this one goes at the top. Everyone in our party raved about their order - and we literally ate every morsel. Even my cocktail (blackberry cosmo) was superb. If you thinking about going here - DO IT, you will not be disappointed!!!

This was my second time here. Both times it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend the Kimberton Inn. The food and service are superb.

My wife and I are lucky enough to live local to this restaurant. Whenever she asks me where I want to go for "date night", my answer is always the same. Kimberton Inn. It is by no means a "cheap" restaurant, but the food is QUALITY and the service is unmatched in the area, by a long shot. We never feel "rushed" there. Last night we had a nice relaxing dinner for 2 on the patio (73* and no bugs) and we just enjoyed each other's company for 2 hours. No pressure to leave, not ignored by staff being outside... just a nice relaxing time. Their bar selection is top shelf. I am a Scotch drinker and can rarely find a HIGH quality Scotch at a restaurant in this area. The first time I asked for a "peaty / smokey Scotch like Lagavulin or Laphroaig 18 or Laphroaig 10", they said, to my delight, "we have all 3... which would you like". Usually, you're LUCKY if a bar has Laphroaig 10 (the least of the 3). They also have a Sunday Brunch (which we used to go to twice a month before we had a baby) which is a GREAT value for money. You get a 5 course meal for $25. A bit pricey for Breakfast, but if you think about the amount of food you get, it's actually a good deal. Jeff, the owner is a great guy who does not overlook the details and isn't afraid to pick up some empty plates to keep the place moving. He's not a busboy, but he's a great owner who makes sure the experience and service are top notch. When he's not there, Jay, the maitre d, does a wonderful job taking care of us. I can not recommend the Kimberton Inn highly enough.

The building, decor, and music were definitely amazing. The service (which I really don't even care about...but I was hungry and it took about 30 minutes until the waitress came to our table + another 15 for bread which was brought out with our meal) was not good. I got the veal escalopes for $26. It was basically 2 veal medallions topped with a sliced of prosciutto and a slice of fontina with 4 small diced red-skin potatoes in balsamic vinegar. Taste-wise, nothing special and not worth $26. We also got the crab cake for $28. It did taste good, but all it came with was 3 potato fries. Overpriced.

Excellent service , great quality food , everything was fresh and delicious and you could tell it was homemade and cooked from scratch. Would definitely come back here, the prices were fair , you pay for what you get !
