Opening the EP comes “Just As It Is” this denizen of the deep rides alongside a formidably squanderous beat lightly lackered with redolent tones, and deep driving trance lines. It’s a marvelous start that introduces “Beware Of Trance” in a very admirable fashion. Mr K, is a name totally new to me, but upon hearing this track I quickly found myself searching around the web to find him. (click me) “Beware Of Trance” is an absolute beauty. An ambitious start meets an ear-splitting hook, fused with resonating synth-work, pretentious dynamics, and a monolithic atmosphere.

Oen Bearen’s “Nusantara”, again this track follows on without fault, and manages to keep the progressive pattern keenly intact. Lifting the pace ever so slightly “Nusantara” blows the mind, you will immediately find yourself marching along to every bone crunching beat, and willingly revelling in the supremeness of its succulent core. Closing down the EP, comes Richard van Dongen’s animated tune ”Rock This”. A very solid and zestful groove brings a slingshot of big boomy bass, piercing stabs and a galloping break, ignited by the distant celestial echos and revolving atmosphere.

It’s great to see the upcoming labels putting some of the larger labels to shame, by producing and releasing some of the most distinctive trance releases to date. This new release on the label Trance All-Stars Recordings “Sanglare – Gleam” is no exception, Sanglare seduces the listener with flighty spirits and sweet visionary lines, while Orbion’s interpretation brings this release to the floor with ascending builds, sparkling dynamics, and mollified layers that drive this track along with a radiant subjugate atmosphere. 9/10 RR

In August of 2012, Beatsmedia UK announced the results of their annual ‘Best Vocalists’ Poll. Growing bigger and bigger, with the amount of votes rising to great heights, the poll turned out to be a great reflection of this year’s most popular singers, vocalists, and songwriters, within dance land.

In collaboration with the popular EDM website, we’re now proud to present the official ‘Best Vocalists 2012’ pack, with tracks by each of the 50 vocalists featured in the poll! It doesn’t only include the stunning ‘These Days Are Ours’ single of the no.1 vocalists on the list, winner Emma Hewitt, but also brings you the haunting, touching and powerful vocals of Susana, Ana Criado, Christian Burns, JES, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Sarah Howells, Jennifer Rene, and the number 1 most voted for new comer, Tania Zygar. +Armada Music

Introduction

Beatsmedia UK was born from a love of music, and a desire to help link musicians who work hard, to people who appreciate the work they do. This is a free service which is at the core of Beatsmedia; indeed this is the very definition of Beatsmedia.

Sometimes musicians and labels would like Beatsmedia, or some of those involved, to go over and above what they naturally do for free, and in those cases offer financial remuneration to those who do that additional work.

This is the way Beatsmedia has always, and will always work, the love of music and the passion to link quality musicians to quality listeners must always be at the fore. When it is, we find that people appreciate that and reward accordingly. If you work with Beatsmedia and share the same core values, and follow this approach, then you will find yourself naturally rewarded, as Beatsmedia is an efficient vector to showcase both your talent in what you do, and your love of music. If you do not take this approach, then Beatsmedia simply will not work for you.

Beatsmedia is not a soulless profit making corporation, it is a helpful collection of music lovers who utilize various publishing channels to share their love of music.
