Some shots of the Marblehead Lighthouse on Lake Erie, a day before the weather got worse, when Rachele Spencer shot the lighthouse. She did a good job.

In my line of work as a Chauffeur, I get to wait at private airports for people. Sometimes I see some really nice jets, and sunsets.

Some vacation time

I like taking pictures, have since I was young. I've learned to adapt from film to digital and then take on social media. Goole has become my digital "home" as it were since my earliest days online.

In the last few years with the advent and finer tuning of cell phone photography, I have been drawn into the technical revolution that are smartphones.

Since being with Google and using smartphone to take most of my photos, Google has been prompting me to contribute to Google maps at the various places I visit, take a picture, write a review, answer questions about the place I eat at or are near.

Sometimes it's not convenient, other times it sparks my imagination and creativity. Every once in a while I get an email telling me how many times my photos have been viewed and encouraging me to keep contributing. I am surprised at how many times my photos will get viewed. dozens, hundreds, and a few, thousands of times.

Google has used the term 'explorer". So now I am a Google Explorer. I hadn't thought of myself like that before, but I like it.

Scrolling through my posts, and I came across this one. It was late and I couldn't sleep. At the time it was my dad's apartment at a retirement home in south Florida. He has since passed and it is either being renovated for someone else or occupied by someone else. But I wanted to try this available light scene. Can't remember what camera I used, but in any case, it turned out better than I thought.
