Stolen Gear Alert
As many of you have already seen from a previous post, ALL of our (+John Getchel
and my) photo equipment was stolen on Monday, October 28, in San Francisco. We shot the Bay Bridge, put our equipment back in the truck and went to dinner. When we returned, a window was broken and everything was gone! It happened at the corner of Embarcadero and Howard, on the east side of the street between 8:15pm and 10:00pm. (Witnesses? I can hope…)
This photo is a list of all Canon serial numbers, but it is not an exhaustive list, because we had other things: a Sigma lens, Lee filters, remotes, etc. However, this list represents the bulk of what it will cost us to replace the gear.
We would like to ask that everyone PLEASE share this so the serial numbers are widely distributed in case the equipment shows up for sale – either online (eBay, CraigsList) or in secondhand/pawn stores. We’re fairly certain it would probably surface in the Bay Area; however, it’s entirely possible with something of this value, it could be sent elsewhere. If you happen to find anything, please report it to the San Francisco Police Department, case #130916541, and let us know that something has been found.
THANK YOU ALL!! #sanfrancisco #sanfranciscophotography #bayarea #canonusers #canonphotographers
