Who doesn't want to have a nicely round and lifted butt that will
look amazing in any pair of jeans or bikinis? And let's not forget
about the health benefits of having strong, shapely glutes. How
about a pain-free lower back? The gluteal complex of muscles plays a key role in helping take stress off the spine during multiplanar movements. In many cases, the main reason for lower back pain are week glutes.
I'm someone who has to work extra hard to reverse the effect of sitting on my butt for longer periods of time and I have to keep fixing my back with postural therapy due to scoliosis but all that work always pays off.

I've been getting a lot of emails lately from women of different ages telling me they suffer from low self esteem and they want to either lose weight or build muscles to have a body they think is going to be more beautiful. The lack of confidence and the disconnection from your own body is something you can take control of. I think that attraction and confidence is not about your weight, or the shape of your body. It's about how you carry yourself and how you feel as a woman. In my opinion the first step to accepting your body is to experience it fully. My daily training and high intensity workouts is one way of doing that, but there's more sensual and liberating side of physical exercise that allows for a full immersion in your own body, which I believe could be your cure for low self esteem. Have you ever tried to free yourself when doing yoga moves or stretching? Have you tried to sway your hips or whip your hair while listening to your favourite music? Maybe you haven't, but before you start to judge that these type of moves are disrespectful to women, and have no place in the fitness world, let me say this: I think that the female body is beautiful and being strong as a woman means accepting and expressing your feminine, and sensual side as well - not suppressing it.

Today we're doing the super intense Upper Body & Abs Inferno in the ZGYM so I doubt you'd want to do another high intensity workout for your legs. What you can do are these muscle toning exercises for your butt and legs. You guys have been saying you love that we're incorporating these Bar Method inspired moves and that its been helping you to see results in your legs a lot. I think you can clearly see the difference in my legs as well so you can definitely look forward to seeing theses more in the ZGYM workouts.

I feel so weak, I can barely hold a handstand. I have already excused myself from shooting the next Upper Body & Abs Inferno this week because even a simple sliding exercise feels like hell right now. I did these slow pace exercises for flexibility and upper body and abs strength before shooting the next 15 minute fit slide for the ZGYM. I thought you might like the wall supported exercises for practicing your handstands. The last one is quite challenging but I consider myself intermediate when it comes to challenging upper body exercises such as the handstand, so if you can do legs elevated planks and rolls on the ball, you shouldn't have a problem. I have to press my head against the wall to help my core with more stability and to lift the leg all the way up. Next step would be to lift both legs up - still working on that. All in a slow, controlled manner. Have fun!

Here are some great exercises for upper body & abs using the sliders which you can buy online or in any sporting goods store for really cheap. I have this awesome workout series in the ZGYM for you using these sliders - 9 workouts and counting... It's low in impact and improves not only your strength but also cardio and flexibility. For those of you who want to take your training for upper body and abs to the next level, try the INFERNO workout I posted in the ZGYM today. All you have to do to get into shape is to follow my Weekly Workout Schedule and exercise with me daily in the ZGYM (at ZuzkaLight.com) Today we're doing Stretch & Tone Workout - which is a perfect workout to start with if you're new to my team 😃 here are some of the exercises from today - a lot of Pilates/Bar method and stretching. Tomorrow we're going to bring up the intensity 😉 have fun!
