Here's a #throwback to one of the wettest #golftournaments ever! Despite the rain all of our awesome customers and the T&P team were all still out with smiles. The event was definitely one to remember!

We are looking forward to the tournament this year. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

A lot of drivers don't like to tarp, yet we work together as a team to help each other accomplish this for our customers.

One of the first pedestrian deaths from a self-driving vehicle. We all know how much damage a car can cause in an collision, but that's nothing compared to a semi truck. Should we be more concerned about the self-driving big rigs?

Today's #wednesdayfact is about the creative side of truckers. Since most drivers get to see a lot of this country, many of them have taken up photography as a hobby. #believeitornot but another growing pastime for truck drivers is needlepoint!

Hobbies like needlepoint and knitting don't take up much room, so it's actually a perfect pastime for truck drivers.

Do you know any #truckers that have tried needlepoint?

Let us know in the comments what you do as a pastime...

How did your first week in 2018 go? Ours was great.

Since it's Monday, we have another #mondaysafety tip for you. Today it's about checking loads.

All drivers are required to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, which require drivers to conduct load checks after the first 50 miles.

Truck drivers must also check their loads whenever the truck has been driven for more than 150 miles or more than three hours. Loads should be checked whenever there is a change of duty as well.

For today's #Fridayfact, we have kind of a mix between a fact and a safety tip.

In 2015, the rates of fatal injuries and nonfatal injuries and illnesses of truck drivers of both heavy and tractor-trailer and smaller delivery trucks were HIGHER than the average for ALL private industry occupations. Most of these injuries were some type of sprain or strain.

Most of these injuries could have likely been avoided had the truck driver received proper training. Some injuries can also be avoided by accepting that even experienced #truckers still need to be careful when performing repetitive tasks.

We want all the drivers out there to slow down when performing tasks that could result in injury. You're an integral part of our economy, so we need you to stay safe.

These signs from BC Transportation and Infrastructure are a massive help in areas with ever changing weather conditions. Find out more about these signs and how they work in a new blog post, in less then 3 minutes you'll know everything there is to know about them. https://goo.gl/py4iPu

What do you think? Are these signs a help or just an annoyance? Let us know in the comments.

Who doesn’t love some #bling?! A long time ago #truckers realized that since they were going to spend the majority of time in their truck, they might as well "dress it up".

No one thinks bare lug nuts are attractive, even when painted they still look plain. During the 1940's when chrome hubcaps were starting to grow in popularity, someone who must have loved customizing came up with the idea of covers for the lug nuts.

Since most people think that shiny trucks are better, chrome plated metal became the default setting for most customizing.
These lug nut covers come in an almost endless variety of shapes, colors, and material.

"Chrome won't get you home", but why not roll with some style.
What do you think? Is #chrome the way to go?

What do you think? Do you prefer the new trucks or one of the old classic?
So exactly how efficient are #bigrigs compared with the classic 80s trucks? Well in a recent report, it's estimated that it would take 60 trucks to equal the exhaust emissions of a single truck in 1988!
Where you a #trucker back then? How clean did your rig run?
