hey Asmongold, it's me, your subscriber Moltari.

today i wanna talk about a point you discuss here - "how does someone being able to see the content in LFR affect you seeing the content in mythic at all?" you said it doesn't. I respectfully disagree. here's why:

in the past when LFR didn't exist there was a lot of people who did all the stuff leading up to raiding and got themselves ready. then they started looking to see what other challenges the game had for them and realized that they needed to find a group of people to tackle the biggest, most challenging content in wow. they wanted to do this for a few reasons - seeing the story, gearing their toon some more, and because they saw all this awesome loot that other people had and wanted to get it.

i remmber fondly being asked where i got vendorstrike from by many a paladin back in the MC days. i even ended up recruiting a few of those people into my guild and they became raiders.

that's the thing. there used to be a draw to raiding, a thing that brought many different kinds of people together to tackle the content that was provided. for many different reasons.

blizzard, with LFR, removed a lot of those reasons. you can see the entire game without uttering a single word to anyone. this makes me frustrated as a guild leader. recruiting has gotten harder and harder, even for us - a community focused raiding guild. we'll take anyone who fits in to the guild and mold them into a raider. it's just with LFR, the number of people that still want to see that content is shrinking a LOT.

this is why i think people able to see all of the content in LFR is affecting people doing the content in mythic. and not just mythic, normal and heroic too!

anyways, just my thoughts. thanks for reading, and keep on doing what you do. love your channel!

peace,

Moltari

you COULD risk your neck.

or you know... it's an MMO. you're in a guild. they're ONLINE and NEARBY. team up with them and stomp the enemy beneath your boots.
