That is so completely true. A normal, reasonably intelligent human such as myself can't find any reason or logic once I am working out. I feel like a completely useless wreck when trying to speak. I figure I sound about the same to everyone else so I just grunt.

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life. -Winston Churchill.

Republicans are like Twinkies: stubby, yellow, full of fluff, only trash support them and their days are numbered.

+Haley O'Neill from a purely medical standpoint, one might say its the same... I dont say that... my meaning of sex wasnt the physical, but the intimacy and connection with another person that is very important for your overall well being.

Not to mention the biggest attack in the history of the US, on US soil, because a president didnt take daily intel briefings seriously and was asleep on the job....Benghazi is just another weak, Limbaugh/Fox conspiracy tactic to tarnish Obama's administration.

To the stupidity of the Republicans and conservatives that are now saying that poorly managed companies like Hostess (Twinkies) and PapaJohn that employee lay offs and hour cuts are all Obama's fault:

According to the Wall Street Journal, Money, Forbes and Financial times... out of the top 500 companies in America, a whopping 86% are reporting record profits in 2010, 2011 and it looks to be 2012 will top those previous years. All of the top 500 companies ... that's 100% , claim profits are up and the state of their companies are very stable.

compared to 2006, the amount of small business since 2009 in the US has tripled, with one of the lowest failure rates in 40 years (Forbes)

Of course... when a company fails, its not bad management, poor decision making, illegal practices (as in PapaJohn's case) or over expansion (or any other business 101 fundamentals), no, that's always the president's fault for "mysterious policies" that only seem to affect certain businesses but not others....(rolls eyes)

Not to be a jerk, +Stephen Kershaw , but blaming Reagan is against the premise of this topic... Here is something on the reason for the costs associated with healthcare: http://www.forbes.com/sites/toddhixon/2012/03/01/why-are-u-s-health-care-costs-so-high/

My experience in talking with people in the medical field is that the "defensive medicine" is one of the big drivers in health care costs.  It is more than just the treatment procedures.  There is record-keeping, staffing, etc.  This, in turn, raises overhead and drives the GP out of business.  I shadowed an ER doctor 15+ years ago, and he referred a patient to a specialist:  "I am 99% sure what I am seeing in this x-ray, but I need to make sure that the specialist reviews it to make sure.  If I am wrong, I would be liable."  My experience was reflected in the study above.  Specialization is overtaking my profession in the same manner.  There are fewer and fewer GP attorneys because of legal malpractice liability.

I am also curious about the effect experimental and new medicines play in the cost of health care.  I know that people from other countries do come to the US for the most advanced treatments.  Even in advanced industrialized countries, the US medical schools and research are considered the best. I also wonder how much additional cost this creates to the system.

Short & Sweet: Really extraordinary nursery with a few exotics that cant be found swimming in the status quo at the local Lowe's & Home Depot and so forth. Prices in comparison are slightly higher, but the quality of specimen + urban location justify it.
