Originally designed in 1920 to haul 100 lbs of coal or dirt, this virtually indestructible tote features a full open top and a double thick-boxed bottom made of super-heavy #6 duck canvas. And of course, sporting Best Made Co.’s signature “Everything Here is Wonderful” logo.

A study shows that 90 percent of people in their studies don’t know how to use CTRL/Command + F to find a word in a document or web page!
Google's resident search anthropologist, Dan Russell, dropped this incredible statistic on us. And no, he couldn't believe it either.

I have always wanted to take time-lapse videos and always find a reason not to do it. No more excuses! Meet the Time-Lapse Camera: here to solve all of my time-controlling, video-making, weather-fearing troubles!

It’s designed to create time-lapse videos at the push of a button, doing all of the work for you. Say goodbye to intervalometers, settings menus and complicated gear setups.

Can you believe it’s weather resistant? Totally #wishlisted!

Sydney based graphic designer Linus Dean said goodbye to his traditional graphic design job and started a rug business. I am in love with these type driven rugs. #wishlisted

Our schools are facing some tough challenges right now. But, the way TBD sees it, there’s no better time to bring the spotlight back on those teachers that make our classrooms thrive.

They just launched ThanksForTeaching.Us, a 30 day campaign to share thanks for the unforgettable teachers that shaped our lives.

Take a minute to say thanks by recognizing one (or a bunch) of your favorite teachers and what they inspired you to do. I just added mine.

Two of my studiomates, Kevin and Yoko helped design and build the site. Studiomates represent!

Zach Frechette, co-founder of GOOD Magazine, just launched Quarterly, a subscription service for wonderful things. For 48h, starting now, you can sign up and take their
Public Beta for a spin.

Quarterly is a subscription service that enables people to receive physical items in the mail from influential contributors of their choice. Yes, this service is about the magic of receiving physical mail.

Subscribe to a ‘Quarterly Contributor‘ and then just sit back and wait for that first surprise mailing in your mailbox. Just imagine, getting your mail after a long day at work and discovering a Quarterly surprise between all of those catalogs and bills. Lovely concept, right?

I have been a subscriber for their non-public beta and let me tell you, I felt like a kid under the christmas tree every single time I opened one of these. The current contributors are Scott Belsky, No more Dirty Looks, Liz Danzico, Alexis Madrigal, Geoff Manaugh, Maria Popova, Bobby Solomon and moi.

Keep in mind that you can subscribe to more than just one person. For now it’s US only but their plan is to add international destinations soon.

Creating the Future of Education and Work wants to help educators foster creativity and conceptual thinking in schools. The founders, Rita J. King and Joshua Fouts, created creatingthefuturetoday.com as a resource for teachers and parents with ideas that help foster imagination and teach kids to collaborate while problem solving.

In Made By Hand’s inaugural film, they visit the Breuckelen Distilling Company, the first gin distiller in Brooklyn since prohibition. Founder Brad Estabrooke talks about starting from nothing and the imperfect process of perfecting a craft. His experience bears a lesson for us all: knowing you could fail brings you that much closer to success.
