Hey friends, family and others I know.  I'm working on building my website reputation and having shares seems to do that with Google Plus.  Please share this with the people in your circles too!

I don't know if anyone's seen Randal Munroe's new XKCD website... but so far it's been frickin' hilarious. http://what-if.xkcd.com/

The logo with the T-Rex being lowered into the Sarlacc Pit is priceless... http://what-if.xkcd.com/imgs/whatif-logo.png

Can someone please explain to me how Google's decision to consolidate and streamline its privacy policies across all of its applications is being touted as "evil" by some? This sounds fantastic to me.

How many news articles do I have to read to earn a damned Google news badge anyway? I read Google news every day and I haven't earned squat.

I looked and I have that set also. It's just that it switches focus to the new tab when I click. I prefer to go through all the articles and open then in new tabs... then read them all and close them out. It's just my browsing style

After years of making excuses for tolerating FireFox's current bloat state I have finally make the switch to Chrome... it's been a good run, Mozilla. The last straw was when I found myself unable to install the Google toolbar after FF automatically updated itself last night... score one for Google.

Awful. I got jumbalaya... the first bite was a huge chunk of tough, rubbery, pork gristle which I spit out. I did eat about a third of what I was served but it was mostly overly salty, but otherwise bland rice. Threw the rest away and then had to go take a huge, nasty dump immediately afterward. Never eating there again - a disgrace to the big easy!

I work in the northwest part of the loop and I have to hit this place up at least once each week. Why? The pork is absolutely addictive and fantastic! I almost always get the "tacos dinner" ... 3 tacos: pork, onion, cilantro, onion, tomato, on a corn tortilla (authentic!) with a small side of rice and beans for about $8. Add an order of chips and salsa and you're still under $10. The "decor" isn't fantastic... but that's not why people go there anyway. The guy working the cash register (who I think is the owner) is extremely personable and efficient. He keeps that place running like a well oiled machine... which is fortunate because this place gets**BUSY** during the lunch hour. They also have outdoor seating in the summer, which is nice.

I used to eat at the Elgin location frequently when I worked out there. The gyros are awesome. Nothing fancy about them... just not overly greasy and always served with a healthy helping of tomato, onion, and cucumber sauce.

Lobster and Crab cakes with apple salsa and tangy sauce were awesome. Not ridiculously expensive. The place was pretty empty at 8pm on a Monday night. Decent service.

Large selection of Asian beverages from your standard Japanese beers (Sapporo, Kirin, etc) plus the more exotic such as ginger and plum wine. All sushi rolls we ordered were fantastic... well made, rice prepared perfectly, and the quality of the fish was excellent. Free side dishes such as miso soup, an asian salad, and green tea desert were equally delicious.
