Boheme in its humble beginnings had a great vibe and location. Away from all the midtown loud crowds, it was a perfect place for a date. Since its expansion, it has attracted an unfavorable group of people and the service has dramatically decreased in quality. Good luck going to the bathroom, the line is ridiculous every night.
I actually live downtown and I have been going to this place since day one when the blind butcher group decided to take over town square. This bar is my favorite bar in Houston. They offer an amazing selection of mezcal and tequilas. The staff is fast and knowledgeable and the patrons are a great mix of Houstonians and visitors alike. They have pool tables in the back and the decor is probably the best I've seen in a long time.
After years of going to different places in Houston for my glasses and contacts, I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is incredibly friendly and its the only place I've found to carry my favorite frames...Oliver Peoples.
