Whenever rain heads your way, keep an eye out for rainbows! I made this photo of a rainbow over a king penguin colony in the Falkland Islands, which formed after a brief rain shower passed and the sun came back out. I went wide to include the entire rainbow arc in the photo. When the penguin in the front spread its flippers, I triggered the shutter. Although they merely had their backs turned into the wind, it looks like all of the penguins are gazing in awe at the rainbow. Canon 5DSR, Canon 11-24mm lens, ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/100 second.
