#GuidingLight series: Story #3
After the death of her husband, Kavita was depressed. Left with no source of income and living with HIV, her health deteriorated to the point of severe malnourishment. Living alone and chronically ill, Kavita had lost all hope of a better life.

This Diwali, ensure that stigma and discrimination don't push people like Kavita in depression.

Imagine being a child. Imagine having to face hostile crowds.
Imagine the angry crowd closing down the one haven where you hoped for being cared for.

Stigma and discrimination make lives of children living with HIV terribly difficult.
Please help spread kindness.

Sujata was misguided into believing that her yet unborn child will be HIV positive. Depressed by the news, she isolated herself. She was unwilling to believe that with right care, her child could be born healthy.

This Diwali, ensure that stigma and discrimination don't push people like Sujata in depression.

Believe. Be counted.

Neha has had a tough life - being orphaned early in life, being forced to leave her children and home, having to live off the streets.
When diagnosed with HIV, she feared abandonement from her new family again.

This Diwali, ensure people like Neha don’t face stigma and discrimination, and that they receive the help they need.
