The author's theme of the power of now - versus the past or the future - really gels well with me, so I found this a very thought-provoking book, or - to be more accurate - one that has encouraged me to try to experience more vividly the here and now to help me to put all the thought-driven mind activity into perspective. I like the idea that that the future is really only a series of mind-generated imaginings or projections, no more real than that. I am thus beginning to develop a deeper understanding of my own reactions to people and circumstances, within the context of now.
