Hello there fellow shavers! I'd like to let you all know about Shave HQ, an online store I started a few months ago: https://www.shavehq.com I'm focused on selling vintage items that I've cleaned up, but have a few other peripheral items that aren't vintage as well. Two things in particular I'd like to draw your attention to:

First, I sell really high value starter kits built around a vintage Gillette Tech or Superspeed. The kits are very affordable and I wish I'd had a kit like this when I got started:

Also, I currently have a pretty special razor available right now, a genuine Red Dot Fatboy. The Red Dot mostly looks like a Fatboy, but the mechanism and internals are more like a Toggle. Pretty rare. And the one I'm offering I just had tuned up by Captain Murphy, so the insides are clean and it is functioning perfectly. I'm selling it in a Sealed Bid Auction: I'm accepting private bids by email through March 4th, and not revealing anything about the bids I've received until the auction is over. I chose this format so many people have a chance at it, not just whoever sees it first. It also encourages you to decide on your one best price you would pay for this piece. If it sells for more, you will not feel bad about not offering more. This format also renders sniping moot. Here it is:

I also have a selection of more common vintage razors for sale at fair prices: NEWs, Slims, various SE razors, and more, and I add additional items a couple times a week. Thanks for taking a look!

I wrote my first article for Sharpologist!

I tried to sort out all the confusion and rumors that surround the various Personna blades, including the rumors that the U.S. factory will be closing. It won't. Lab Blues and Med Preps will continue to be produced by the same employees, at the same place, on the same equipment, but under new ownership.

I also tried to figure out what's up with those "made in USA" Israeli Personnas that somebody came across a while back. Those are still kind of a mystery.

Quick poll, #Android folks: do you use Google Play Newsstand? If so how much? +1 the appropriate comment below.

Thanks.

Edit: and if you could be so kind as to share this to your followers as well, I'd be most grateful.

Great little utility.
Our new app for photo enthusiasts just hit the digital shelves!  With Sudo PicRemove, you no longer need to worry about running out of space on your device, so you can snap away to your heart's content. This app allows you to painlessly clear old pictures that are just sitting on your device taking up space.

Photo management is hassle-free: once you reach a certain threshold, the app will let you know it's time to clean things out. Once you clean up, images go to a trash bin for temporary holding where you can rescue any pictures that you want to keep on the device. Reclaiming your space is now a single tap away. You can even unlock the ability to have the app keep your device clean of old photos automatically.

Please help us spread the word!  :)  -Melina
