Great trout and great perogies here, and even though the clientelle seems a little bit older you can tell that this is some awesome Polish food. Also the waitresses here attend to your every need or whim.

Have been here a few times on the back patio. The Stroganoff and the Schitzel sandwiches are bomb and the happy is great.

Best Polish restaurant in SoCA. Never fails to please with Eastern European dishes with a CA touch. Excellent, friendly service. One feels as if one is a guest in a family home.

unique polish cuisine served in what feels like a cozy, converted house. don't be afraid to ask what the strange things are on the menu. try the borscht, the vodka, and the lamb.

Sunday 09/14/2014 My first time going out in a long time being very ill for the past 10 years, my husband and I were looking forward to a great Duck experience. My husband had dined here many times about 15 years ago and told me I would have an unforgettable experience. It was certainly! DISAPPOINTING The Duck was old, unbelievable tough and burnt to a black charcoal color. I couldn't believe that the waitress had even set that Duck in front of him. The lamb balls were seasoned with something that tasted foreign. The chef didn't exist. The Duck Pate resembled canned dog food that had been set out for a few days. The herring came directly from a jar. We were very disappointed. We sent back the food, We couldn't get the check fast enough. The service was fine and they were very apologetic about the food. we just said that they didn't cook it. They really need a real chef. We will never go back! :((

We had the bacon wrapped plums, stroganoff and pierogi. Everything was good and fresh. The stroganoff was tasty with extra wine flavor. The bacon-wrapped plums were very baconey and very plummy. Some may find the chicken pierogi to be a bit bland. The service. was excellent, although they and every restaurant should provide wi-fi these days. Business-wise free wifi is such a cheap and easy way to provide extra service to customers, and it will get them to stay longer to pay for drinks, coffee and dessert. The prices were just a tad on the high side. I personally like that the place was nearly empty, but they would probably make more profit by dropping the food prices a bit and making up for it in volume and drinks.

I've never been inside the restaurant for food but have always enjoyed nights out on the semi-enclosed, semi-tented back patio, whether it be for one on one dates or birthday parties. Friendly, unpretentious bar staff and a decent selection of booze.

The sliced cucumbers in yogurt, and the paprikash, were just like home.
