Today marks the release of Ultramodern5 OGL -- the long awaited OGL System Reference Document edition for anyone to use UM5 in their own products. It is being listed as a Pay What You Want for those wishing to help support Dias Ex Machina, or those who haven't already could just buy the complete version of Ultramodern5, which includes the art, maps, index, adventures, etc.

Speaking of, both Amethyst Quintessence and Ultramodern5 have been updated with their own errata. Just head on over to your DriveThru account and download the newly added errata file.

Next up is our 5E superhero game, Apex. Until then...

As some people may have noticed, there has been an issue with Ultramodern5 on OneBookShelf. When the POD went online, it was listed under its own page. When asked to rectify this issue, OneBookShelf combined them incorrectly, wiping out the original page’s reviews, comments, ratings, and even its status medal. Sales figures were adjusted--the medal came back--but the ratings, comments, and reviews did not. At this point, I still don’t know if the reviews are going to be restored, but it’s looking doubtful. So I’m asking those that have posted ratings and/or reviews to please do so again. I can only hope you still have them on a blog or in a file somewhere. Again, no one is more upset than me. Oh, and for those that missed the previous post, the PRINT ON DEMAND Ultramodern5 is finally live!

Just FYI. we just updated the book again fixing an issue with the Lifepath Tragedy table. We also finally submitted a Print-On-Demand option. Hopefully, this won't take long.

A pair of two reviews, both 5-stars dropped today. I am deeply touched by the positive buzz.

Thank You Andrew Gill
"I loved this book. What you get is a toolkit of sorts. It covers everything except starships in here. I can see this product being used to create amazing worlds. essentially replacing that old d20 modern/future dinosaur for a slick fast moving ruleset. it would do really well to get a few campaign books based on these modern/future rules. The classes seem balanced enough with plenty of scope to make 10 really different characters of the same class. some of the rule additions like the ladder system work so well i would of liked to see them in the 5th ed playersguide. the art is great the rules are consise and clearly written. If you want to run a contemporary campaign or introduce time travel into your existing 5e world this is the product you want. best buy ive made in a while."

Thank you Customer Name Withheld.
"I just picked up Dias Ex Machina's Ultramodern5 today and after reading through it briefly I ran one of two adventures in the book (which provided pregens for both). We played a game with 14th Level characters. Yes, the adventures in the book are for 4th and 14th Level.

Combat was a bit slow, but we all literally just started playing today. If you understand DnD 5th Edition, you already know about 95% of the actual rules. Keep in mind, I ran a full introductory session in just over two hours, too.

I was truly impressed with how it ran, I liked it much better than D20 Modern and plan to support it if with some projects under the OGL. The rules cover modern and futuristic settings and account for different tech levels.

If you get a chance, pick up this product immediately, I can't recommend it enough."
