The first consulting gig I ever did was five years ago. I got $500 to consult a local McDonald’s franchise owner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Today, I consult for large companies all over the world that pay five-figures per gig. I have consulting gigs booked in 16 countries this year–I’m currently consulting in Europe for two months.

If it’s your goal to book paid speaking and consulting gigs at companies and/or book them all over the world, my new class, Get Booked, could be right for you. I will teach you how to build your speaker/consultant’s foundation, how to find and pitch paid gigs, all the nitty gritty stuff like contracts and presentations, how to build social proof, and how to go international.

This class is good for beginners and/or seasoned speakers/consultants. There are ten spots. The details are here: http://kconstable.com/booked/

One of the most important and profitable strategies that I've implemented in my lifestyle business these past few years is going "mainstream." It's led to more opportunity literally all over the world. In today's blog post, I explain what this means and how to can book your first consulting gig at a mainstream company. I worked hard to build a life and business that allows me to travel the world doing what I love. It was not an easy road to get here--especially when I realized I was sabotaging myself. When I dug deep, I uncovered a struggle that many of us face. In my weekly column for Entrepreneur, I talk about the fear of success and why it's time to stop letting it keep us stuck. https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/290709

Third consulting presentation in the books! It was well received and the company let some of their people sign up for high-end coaching with me. It was a fun and profitable morning. This is one of the many reasons why I love consulting at companies!

The car the company sent will be here in 30 minutes. They flew me to Europe for two months for these trainings. They were very generous with the fee/accommodations. They have already signed on for more consulting work in some other amazing countries later this year.

I'm ready to walk into this company and blow them away. I'm ready to teach these department heads how to have the entrepreneurial mindset. My energy level is through the roof, the content is solid, and I love what I do.

If you would have told me years ago that this would be my life, I would have laughed and walked away. It's amazing what's possible when you have a dream and do something about it. Keep going speakers/consultants

Taking a break from work to visit Buckingham Palace--one of the residences of Queen Elizabeth II. We were told that when the Royal Standard flag is up, it means that the Queen is in residence. She's here! Now, if only I could get in to say hi 😊

When I was finally fully supported by my lifestyle business in 2012, my coaching program was my sole/main source of income. There were months when I felt like I was running on the clouds because I locked in lots of new business. There were also months when I was depressed and unmotivated because no one wanted to hire me and there was no money coming in.

In my weekly column for Entrepreneur, I share four ways to get a steady stream of clients for your coaching business, and how to set up lead generation. I also talk about the most important thing you need in your coaching business: multiple streams of income. Check it out here: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/290405

#TBT That surreal day when my book outsold some people that I greatly respect and have learned from. It was a special day to have my book at the top of the charts with Brendon Burchard, Tony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, Walter Isaacson, and Peter Thiel.

As my business has exploded this year and moved towards mainly international consulting with billion dollar plus companies, I'm becoming very strict with how I use my time and the connections I make/keep.

Our time is our most valuable resource--I'm seeing this more than ever. You can't get time back. Whom we associate with either helps or derails our journey to create success. I want to associate with people who are doing big things while helping other people. I'm not going to be afraid to cut people off who only want to talk instead of act and/or try to cut down others who are taking action. #selfmastery
