Went here for a friends 25th birthday party. She rented out the private room for it... was a splendid time... The only beef I really had was the autograt for our bill... No problem if the entire group of 20 was on it... But these were individual drink bills and still the autograt.... weird... Service and food was 4 stars.... drink bill was 1 star :p

Great Hawaiian style restaurant. Fantastic service, good food and, as my daughter said, awesome dessert (chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream). One needs a car to get to Roy or a short Taxi ride from the main strip but its worth the ride. The only negative is that the noise level is high and it is hard to carry a conversation. Recommended.

The Happy Hour here is amazing! Great drinks and food. We weren't as impressed with the dinner and it was quite a bit more expensive. I'd definitely give it another shot. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Bit on the pricey side for the portions, but they offer deals for locals to offset that. It is LOUD in here at the busy dinner hour. Aloha (Spicy tuna) roll was excellent, very flavorful!

Reasonable attractive for a strip mall location, well trained staff, pretty food. That said, it is -- to my taste -- just another one of the hundreds of over-priced, genericized, flavorless ways to strip money from the wallets of unsophisticated Americans who wish to act pretentious. Roy's is the kind of place that tries hardest not to offend, rather than trying to excite. I presume that those who volunatarily vacation in Vegas will find it to suit their expectations. Those who are there for unavoidable events should probably try to find something that is NOT tourist oriented and suits their tastes.

Worst food I have ever had. I've been to several Roy's before..Kauai, Newport Beach, CA , and Anaheim, CA. The first was excellent, and the following, gradually lacking freshness, but the one in Las Vegas...WOW... HORRIBLE. Lets start at the Hostess, she acted very snooty, because I didn't have a reservation, yet there were many tables available at the time. Mind you, this was at 9 pm. I picked my daughter up from the airport, and wanted to take her for a good meal, which we didn't get. The waitress was very nice though. I order the macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi. When it came out, I could smell that it wasn't fresh, by the fishy odor, but soon found out that is was like a piece of rubber, when I tried to put my fork in it and still pink in color. I then looked at my daughters steak, which she order Medium Well, when she cut into it, It was Rare and still bleeding. I informed the waitress, and she asked if, I wanted to send it back to the "chef". Why would I, if he couldn't get it right the first time? Then the manager asked if I would like anything else and didn't want us to go away hungry. By the way my meal came out, I wouldn't risk putting my health on the line. I would never go to this Roy's or another again. Please save your time and money. We ending up going to Morton's a block away and had an excellent meal. Roy's needs to take some tips from a great restaurant!! Or soon he won't have any.
