We ordered the salad with pulled pork, the half chicken, and a few sides. Portions were small, flavor was bland, the sauces were just ok. We ordered 2 draft cocktails. They were tiny and watered down. The banana pudding was sweet even for the person at our table who has a sweet tooth. Service was slow for a quiet afternoon. Staff were more interested in each other's company.

My wife and I are from Texas and North Carolina respectively. We love BBQ. This wasn't good. Ribs were bland, my plate was almost tasteless. The sauce, while important, shouldn't be used to mask blah meat. Sorry, just wasn't working for me. Also, the attempt at Carolina style sauce was a confusing mess.

I have yet to dislike anything I've tried here. The fried pickles are the best I've ever had, and the macaroni and cheese was fantastic. All of the meat options are for the most part solid, and the variety of BBQ sauces available are enough to appease a variety of tastes. Docking a star for two reasons: for the fried pickles, the ranch they give you, while good, comes in a jar with an opening smaller than the pickes, and it's not thick ranch. Eating them without making a mess is a logistical nightmare. Also, the prices on some of the sides are high for the amount you get. Small complaints for an otherwise great place to take a group of friends to eat and grab a few drinks.

With a party of eight ready to blow some coin and a reservation on a Saturday night we figured we'd be set for a great time. Wrong. Lo, the gods of BBQ doth reigned down unholy anger upon our group. Wait times of well over 90 minutes AFTER we ordered to see any food, unapologetic help, and COLD food we shall not be returning any time soon. The auto-gratuity was also super tacky. Give us something to snack on for the love of FSM if you're going to make us wait that long.

Chicago BBQ should always be taken with a grain of salt, it's not the best compared to other offerings in the country, but there are definitely places that stand above the others. We arrived at Lillie's Q for an early dinner on a Thursday night and we were promptly seated outside. To start, we ordered the fried pickles with a side of ranch while our dining companions ordered the boiled peanuts. The appetizers came out scary fast, like within a minute (no exaggeration), but they were obviously just made, which made them fresh and delicious. The pickles had a nice crunch to them, but I was overall not that impressed with them. The flavor profile was kind of bland. For dinner, my fiance and I split the pound of tri-tip with a side of beans and sweet potato fries. The server went over the sauce offerings, and the mayo based sauce went wonderfully with the sweet potato fries. We enjoyed trying all of the sauces from the Carolina to the Spicy sauces, all of which slightly changed the flavor profile of the meat. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy and the beans were flavorful, I'd highly recommend these sides. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, so no complaints on this front!

We came here for dinner on a Monday night and were seated right away. We ordered the entree with 3 different meats and upgraded to the Ribs + Chicken + Pulled Pork. We also ordered a side of Macaroni and Cheese. The platter came out with a bit less pulled pork than we expected, but there was Plenty of ribs and chicken to make up for it. I think the chicken was the most tender bbq chicken I've ever had. It was amazing! The Ribs were delicious too - they weren't quite fall off the bone, but still super tender with a crispy crust. The mac & cheese was amazing! It's simple, but delicious. All around Amazing BBQ - I want to go back and try everything on the menu!
