This is real BBQ place with an awesome industrial atmosphere. The wait staff was super knowledgeable and the food was stellar. My friend and I were able to try four items including the fried pickles, mac & cheese, pulled pork and beef. All were out of this world. I think may favorite part was the selection of sauces at each table, there were over 7 to chose from making sure your taste buds got what they paid for. I didn't care for every sauce, but that's not to say other patrons don't love them. If you are a vinegar-based sauce fan, then this is your spot! Expect that sweet tang and bite from the sauce with every clasp of your jaw. I also like how the sink is outside the bathroom so you can spot when people don't wash their hands. Hilarious accountability...

Lillie's Q is the first place I ever went on a date with my current boyfriend and now it's our annual tradition to return for our anniversary. Not only is it sentimental for us, it's also delish and we love to polish off ribs together. We usually get one of the three meat combos-- mostly recently with pulled chicken, brisket and ribs-- with cornbread, mac and cheese and something green. The only thing I don't love there is the collard greens, could be better, but otherwise anything on the menu is delicious. We also love the moonshine cocktails, the arnold palmer one is my favorite.

The Tri Tip was very good, I had to have extra meat on original sandwich was a little skimpy for the $9. I was very disappointed by the lack of friendliness and the inhospitable attitude of the waitress. I asked my self when I asked the waitress for extra meat on my sandwich, why did she appear disturbed and sat my plate down and went to the door where customers enter and personally assisted two Caucasian men to the table, although when I entered accompanied by my Caucasian female friend I practically had to seat my self. Need I say more. And if I don't see this truthful review posted I intend to make it known more public of this Jim Crow experience

Good service and atmosphere. Had fried pickles to start, light crispy batter stands out. Went with the 3 meat sampler, tri-tip was the best choice, definitely recommended, ribs were only OK, not very meaty. Sides of corn bread and collard greens were excellent.

I love Lillie's Q. The pulled pork sandwich is the best - I usually smother each bite in a different sauce. If you're not a pulled pork person, the pulled chicken is on par. The Boiled Peanuts are really rich and have good seasoning. I love the mac & cheese here too - very creamy! The Carolina is my favorite sauce. Its got the good vinegar/Worcestershire sauce taste. The Hot Smoky is a close second - really good smoky flavor and just hot enough to where its not unbearable. The ENC is great for those who like a more vinegary sauce. Drinks - I can drink the blueberry cream soda & moonshine all day.

Hard to believe there was a debilitating fire here just months ago. The place is pristine, with a great Southern decor shtick. Incredible selection of moonshines and beers on tap, and the fried pickles are a can't-miss. Meat-eater? GET THE TRI-TIP.
