First I must say the price of these dogs scared me! Second.... this puppy was worth every cent! I've only had it for three days and already he's displaying signs of exceptional intelligence (this is my fifth dog and the eighth that I've lived with). He's not only smart, his temperament is great and he's absolutely beautiful! I Guard's facility is immaculate. One would expect to see dog hair, some dirt, etc. within a dog breeding/training facility but not here. the floors, walls, ramps, stairs... even the bathrooms for people were clean as a whistle. Nick, the owner, was extraordinary in his knowledge of the breed and applied absolutely no pressure to buy. He answered all my questions and I got an extremely honest vibe off of him. His staff was knowledgeable and helpful as well. If you are in the market for a new dog, do yourself a favor and consider this an option. I drove six hours to see and purchase this puppy and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great facility, great dog! Thanks Nick!!!!!

Really unbelievable! With all the reviews one would think you would be dealing with a professional company. When we went to retrieve our dog, presumably trained after 5 weeks and BIG bucks, we were told that they deserved a 5 star rating. If that wasn't bad enough the trainer said he couldn't stand our dog, basically only spent 1 week training him and when we picked him up our dog was under the influence.,. Of what, we are not positive but he couldn't walk straight, barely could walk at all and was no better trained than when we brought him in. A total waste of money. Since then met another client who also said his dog was under the influence when he got his pup back as well. No 5 star ratings from us.

We always strive to do right by our clients and their dogs, however it’s difficult to respond to this fictional review.  We checked into this user and it appears to be a fabricated account created for the sole purpose of posting a fraudulent review.  We do encourage feedback from our customers and are always looking for ways to give them the best experience possible. Nick and Jacqueline Lungu with I-Guard International are amazing people to work with. They are honest and upfront with every aspect of their business. Their dogs have the most amazing temperament I have ever seen, they stand by their breeding program by offering a guarantee that no other breeder has. Even if you are only looking for someone to train your dog, they are still your best bet. They don't just train your dog, they train the owner too so you are both learning to be better partners for life. Their passion is seen in everything they do. Check out their brand new 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the art pet facility K-9 Country Club in Liberty Lake. They are now offering a full pet store, puppy/dog obedience training, doggie daycare area, pet boarding and grooming, as well as animal rehabilitation services with hydrotherapy in addition to their breeding program.

Nick Lungu is awesome! He is by far the best trainer I have ever/ worked with. He is extreme knowledgeable and also a very nice guy. He has been working with my Cane Corso (Italian mastiff) and has done an absolutely fabulous job with him. He will be training ALL of my future dogs from day one. I highly recommend Nick to anyone with a new dog or puppy, old dog that needs a brush up or problem dog. Nick has the experience to handle anything. Keep in mind though that "dog training" is "people training" too! Nick has a lot to offer so get your money's worth, pay attention, do what he says and learn as much as you can. You won't regret it! IGuard International also produces world class German shepherds. All of their dogs are well cared for and well socialized. The whole family is involved! If you are considering adding a pup to your family, these dogs would be an excellence choice.

My wife and I have owned one previous GSD before going to Nick and I-Guard and there is no comparison. Our experience from beginning to end was excellent Nick observed our family with a couple of his pups and recommended which one he felt was the best fit I was a little skeptical at first but after thinking it over for a night we decided to go with Nicks recommendation and it has been the best decision we have ever made regarding a pet Quin is perfect for us she has an amazing temperament she is the perfect balance between social and protective. She is incredible with the kids plays with them for hours in the yard! When my wife takes her on walks she is quick to alert if there is someone near and stays focused on that potential threat until it passes she will alert with barking and once given a command to leave it she quiets down immediately. She is great off leash we can walk the neighborhood or the park and she stays right by our side. And when it comes to looks there is NO better example of the quintessential German Shepherd then an I Guard Dog. Quins build, stance, color and poise are perfect. We have had quin go for about 6 weeks to Nicks Facility K9 Country Club for short training sessions and Day care and we have the perfect German Shepherd at 7 months. Most satisfied customer ever!!! A final note Nicks dogs and training is not the cheapest but neither is a Ferrari but if you want the best in pedigree and experience there is no equal. The only question that remains is are you looking for a Kia or a Ferrari!

I am a single mom with two kids we lost our 8 year old large breed dog last spring. My kids and I were heart broken. We decided to adopted two small rescue Jack Russell’s, but due to their background they really do not want to play or spend time with my kids. They’re not mean, just not interested. I looked through the shelters to find a large dog because my 9 year old son really wanted his dog due to the divorce and our other dog passing he needed something more to love and I knew it. I am aware shelters have GREAT dogs however they could not tell me anything about these pups that are all coming in from Southern CA. I was brutally attacked by a large dog in my late twenties which makes me very nervous around dogs I don't know. Also being a single mom, and having the two dogs that have a few issues we are still working on, I had a hard time bring one home because I could never take it back. I decided I needed to determine really what breed I wanted. I looked up different breeds and settled on a German shepherd. I called their specific rescues with no luck and not much interest in me. I called up breeders and time and time again all they wanted was my money they were not interested in letting me know their breeding program or having a real conversation. These kinds of breeders are how I have the two JR and I would never give money to them EVER. I was at a dead end then I came across I-Guard International Site. I emailed through the site a few questions and Nick responded and we setup a time to meet. I explained my situation. Nick told me all about his breeding program. He answered all my questions I had. He has beautiful clean facilities and you can tell he LOVE his dogs and the breed. He showed me two 10 week old puppies that were the calmest well-tempered pups I had ever been around. I did fall in love with one long haired little girl however this was for my son and I wasn’t sure 10 weeks was something I could really do at this time. Then Nick told me about a 4 month old that he had. The pup had training, was potty trained, crated trained and new commands (enough for a 4 month old ;-)) He had been adopted already and Iguard had kept him to be trained. After the training the family that had paid a large deposit on him decided they didn't want him. I WANTED HIM. Nick let me know he was supposed to be being adopted the next morning. He said if the people come in and did get him I could have him. I knew this was the dog I had been looking for I also knew it was a long shot because they would only have to pay the difference from the deposit owed. Nick called the next day and let me know that he had spoken to the people that were going to buy him about me and the very kind people determined they would adopt a younger puppy instead if I really wanted the 4 month old. I was ecstatic yes I came right down and got him. I surprised my kids with him that night. They named him Max. Max for being now 6 months old is the kindest, sweetest, well-tempered, easy going, fun and most intelligent dog. He is the best family pet and we love him. I will never adopt a GS/dog from anyone else ever. We are blessed to have such an amazing dog and Nick made it happen. Now Max needs to like fetching just a little more and we will be set ;-)! Thank you Nick - Robyn, Logan & Allyson

After contacting several took one call and speaking with Nick and Jacqueline Lungu at I-Guard International, we knew instantly we had found the right individuals and company to purchase our new addition to our family. Dakota Vom I-Guard International is an amazing, beautiful and intelligent German Shepherd. Her temperament is exceptional. When she was 8 months old, we sent her back to Spokane, WA from Brunswick, GA for Advanced Obedience and Service Animal training. We were amazed at the job that Nick and Jacqueline had accomplished. If you are looking for the perfect German Shepherd and the most qualified trainers, I highly recommend Nick and Jacqueline Lungu.

A great experience. Our work with I-Guard International has been incredible. I am just disappointed it took us so long to find Nick. He has done a fantastic job with our two German Shepherds...we could not be happier with the results. They are more attentive and obedient. It's a great feeling to walk them with the leash in your pocket or, as we are starting to do, even off-leash. He's the best.......we are telling all our friends about I-Guard.
