Bob Chinn's is easily the best sea food restaurant in the Chicago area. Love their clam chowder, garlic rolls, copper river salmon and day boat scallops. Everything I have had there has been fantastic. The staff is the best. Top notch and I have *NEVER* had bad service here. Been going about twice a year for 22 years and no plans to stop anytime soon.

Had not been there for a long time and forgot how good the food was. Everyone in our party got something different and everything was excellent. Wish the food was a little faster but for the size of the restaurant I guess it's okay. The Mai Tais are awesome

This place is huge, and generally busy. When you want to get a table they send you through a series of "troughs" based on your party size, then seat you in a huge dining room. The food is great, you get free garlic rolls that are soaked in so much butter and garlic they will make your breath stink for days. I've never had a bad bite of food in this place and I've eaten here quite a few times. It is a bit pricey, though.

Great staff, upbeat pleasant people, quality food. Prices are to be expected for premium quality seafood. Very casual atmosphere, usually go for special occasions. Have a "World famous Mia Tai" it will help you cope with the tab.

Great restaurant to visit. Although you have to wait a long while if you had no reservation before you go. The best time to visit and had NO waiting would be Sunday noon. You won't be disappointed: the seafoods are absolutely delicious, softshell crabs, fresh fish, scallop, squid, oyster, shrimp, king crab feet, etc.

This is one of our favorite seafood restaurant because of it's great steak and king crab legs. We went here for my birthday on a Thursday and ordered the special which was the prime rib and 10 oz king crab. Last time we were there few months ago, the prime rib was the bomb and today was just BLAH for $54. My mom ordered the orange roughy chargrilled fish and had an after taste. I don't know but maybe because we got there at almost 9 pm and it closes at 10 that's why food was not as good? It shouldn't be an excuse for not being served good food though. I'm disappointed.:/ The calamari as usual was amazing and service was great for us.

1st time visiting for Mother's Day with wife n fam. Seating is an adventure for a party of 4 or more! Stood in a waiting area for 10min. Then, called for seating. Then, stood in a line to go in the dining room. Herded into the dining room. Then stood in another line until table/waiter was available! Garlic bread was crusty outside, soft inside, and layered with garlic and butter. Delicious! (unfortunately the best part of my meal). Waiter was very pleasant and attentive. However, my entree had 'issues'.... my MEDIUM temp sirloin came out mooing, was sent back, and returned well done (-2pts) Lobster tail was cold and returned for a lukewarm one (-2pts). Also, everything breaded and fried was greasy. Overall, place was crowded, confusing, and subpar with food. I'm not a seafood fan. But for those who are, this place may appeal to you.
