On Saturday, February 25, 2012, I am having a Party with a Purpose to help raise funds for Pastor Corey Brooks and the community-center-to be associated with New Beginnings Church Chicago. You probably have heard, Pastor Brooks has been living on a tent of a roof of an abandoned motel for 75 days to bring attention to the youth violence and other issues that plague the Woodlawn Community. I want to help Pastor Brooks come down off the roof and start work to get this community center to our area. Please join me at my house on 2/25/12 at 7pm. The only thing we ask is that you bring $10 or $20 for Project Hood. Pastor Corey Brooks will appear on the www.projecthood.org
website for a live stream about 7:45 pm.
