If you are in the area this is a must see. spent the day there while on my Irish honeymoon (I am Irish) and really enjoyed it. but I love architecture, old houses and gardens. there is a bit of interesting history there too.
Beautiful scenery with some lovely walks. Needs a full day to appreciate.

If you come to visit, enjoy it from outside. "Castle" is not worth 12eur to see. There is only 3 rooms that visitors are able to visit. Interior smells like mold, and its otherwise rich history is bareley existing and watered down by religious theme. Victorian garden is not impressive at all, and I have seen richer gardens in city parks.
