In the summer months, heat illnesses are at high risk. Many people are exposed to heat while on the job, leading to occupational heat exposure related sicknesses and fatalities. In 2011, OSHA launched a Heat Illness Prevention Campaign to further educate employers and employees of the dangers of working in the heat. Celerity firmly believes in the safety of this process. The Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter engaged in a partnership agreement with the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Allentown, Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre Area Offices to further enhance knowledge and relationships with the construction safety process.
