The heritage sites contain a #treasure trove of artifacts and exhibit different stories of #culture and #tradition. Students are mostly interested to visit #historical and #heritage places. And #Saffron_Public_School always takes care of the interest of students. The School organized a trip to ‘#Sada_Pind’ #Amritsar and ‘#Jang_e_Azadi’ #Kartarpur for students of classes II to IX. They all enjoyed the different #exhibits and #attractions of the rich heritage of #Punjab.

Giving the students a platform to showcase their talent, #Talent_Hunt_Competition was organized by school.
This event was aimed for the students of Class: (II-VIII) and many of the students participated in the event. The students showcased their innate talents in a number of events ranging from #Music & #Dance, #Magic_Show, #Beat_Boxing & #Play etc. The main reason behind organizing this competition was to nurture the intrinsic qualities of #students.
The students’ #zeal & #enthusiasm was sterling. Though every performance of the students mesmerized the audience, a play on pros & cons of #social_media imprinted a deep impact on everyone’s mind.
This event helped children to develop higher level of creativity, observation, self-expression along with their creative and artistic skills.
Principal Dr. Sandeepa Sood and Chairperson Mrs. Inderjit Kaur & Mrs. Tanya Singh gave their blessings to the students and motivated them to participate in these kinds of events in future as well. Laying stress on the overall development of the students, Principal Dr. Sandeepa Sood highlighted that the school always seeks to strike a balance between academic and co-curricular activities.

Activity on ‘#Food_Web’ by Edexcel Students
We can see 'what eats what' in a habitat by looking at the food web.
Organisms are in competitions with one another for resources. The organism with the best adaptations to get the resources is more likely to survive and reproduce. Food Web is the best way to show such competitions and interdependence of animals with each other.
#Edexcel students of #Saffron_Public_School participated in science activity to show that organisms in an ecosystem all depend on one another for many things in addition to food. During the activity, students explained the transfer of energy in a food chain with arrows. #Students also understood the pyramid of numbers along the food chain. They got the #knowledge of transfer of poisons which get more concentrated further along the food chain. With such small effort students got the knowledge of different aspects of #ecosystem.
