Party with Vinyl Revival on Record Store Day! Vinyl Revival is proud to be participating in Record Store Day, an international day to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store, on April 21, 2018. Vinyl Revival will stock a selection of titles that are Record Store Day exclusive, limited edition and first releases. As part of the Record Store Day celebration, there will be free in-store performances in association with WPHL-dB URock Radio Philadelphia. Participating musicians include The Transmission NOW and Fred Mascherino from Taking Back Sunday/The Color Fred/Terrible Things. Vinyl Revival will give out free Record Store Day promotional materials with purchases and offer complimentary light refreshments and drinks for shoppers during extended store hours from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Hope you can join with us! #RSD18

The History of The Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade Film will screen, Friday, March 9th and 16th, at The Vault at Vinyl Revival, 35-37 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Lansdowne. There will be two screenings – 7 & 9 p.m. Lots of great interviews, archival material, Social and Civic groups, music and history. 247 Years of parade and Irish history illustrated in the film. $10.00 at the door. Confessions of a Teenage Disc Jockey by T. Morgan Book Signing
Broadcast Pioneer Hall of Famer, DJ T. Morgan, will be selling and signing copies of his autobiography, Confessions of a Teenage Disc Jockey, at Vinyl Revival on Small Business Saturday, November 25th, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Considered by many to be the father of Classic Rock in Philadelphia, T. is now sharing his story of personally pioneering rock music radio and the stories that unfolded on the other end of the mic, personally and professionally. #ShopSmall

Beside Bowie: The Mick Ronson Story Documentary
In celebration of Record Store Day Black Friday, Vinyl Revival is hosting FREE screenings of the documentary film Beside Bowie: The Mick Ronson Story on Black Friday, November 24th at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Small Business Saturday, November 25th at 1:00 p.m. With exclusive voice over contributions from David Bowie, the film features exclusive access to archives never seen before plus bonus interview footage with Angie Bowie, Rick Wakeman, Glen Matlock, Cherry Vanilla, Ian Hunter and more!
The Vault Theater has limited seating (35 seats) so admission is first come, first served.

Three Fourteen plays an intimate concert at the Vault at Vinyl Revival on Saturday, October 21st at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at vinylrevivalrecords.com or at the door. Event is BYOB and snacks.

Three Fourteen is a group of like minded individuals that have joined together to incorporate their experiences into one mash-up of music; a four piece band composed of young guys with old souls. They perform flavorful, protracted sets of reggae and blues-influenced rock. Come check them out!

Vinyl Revival is giving guests a FirstGlance at some of the indie films screening at the 20th annual FirstGlance Film Festival scheduled for Friday, October 6th, at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 300 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102, and Saturday and Sunday, October 7th and 8th, at Painted Bride Art Center, 230 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19106 at a preview party on September 29th.

We’ll screen trailers from some of the festival’s official selections from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. There’s a wide selection of films showcasing geek faves, science fiction, horror, fantasy, as well as the action, adventure, comedy and drama genres.

One lucky winner will even win a free pair of All Access passes to the event!

Light Refreshments – Free!

Vinyl Revival, in association with WPHL-dB URock Radio Philadelphia, presents a free meet and greet with guitarist Bobby Messano on Thursday, July 20th at 8 p.m. and an intimate live performance by Messano on July 21st at 8 p.m. This is a limited seating show with only 35 seats available. Tickets cost $7 and are available at vinylrevivalrecords.com or in person at Vinyl Revival in advance and up to show time. Ticket price includes a free download of Messano’s new album, “Bad Movie,” which debuted at #1 on Sirius/XM B.B. King’s Bluesville. Shows are BYOB and snacks.
