Central did not disappoint -- it's clear why it is consistently ranked as one of the world's best restaurants. Each course was better than the last; a truly memorable and special dining experience.

We enjoyed the 17-course tasting menu. I don't eat meat, so they kindly changed the dishes a bit to accommodate my food restrictions. I also had the juice pairing with my meal. I must say this is one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted AMAZING. It was incredible to see how they used local ingredients in such a creative way. I was very impressed. The number four restaurant in the world did not disappoint and at $150 USD per person, including drinks, tax and tip, I prefer it over going to an overpriced American or European restaurant on the top 100 list that would cost four times as much! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Lima area.

Delicious! The presentation was great, some of the staff need to be a little clearer and tell a better story, but it did not take away from the food!

Amazing food & great service! We were in Lima for 3 days and arranged to have dinner at Central Restaurant on one of the nights - it turned out to be the best experience of the trip! We enjoyed the 17-course "Master Elevations" tasting menu, which worked out to approximately 370 Peruvian Soles per person.

Of the many five star restaurants that I've tried, the only thing I really remember from this one was the price. The food was beautiful and masterly presented, but very few of the entrées impressed me. The only two I even remember was the octopus dish and a piece of edible frozen clay. Usually when I eat at a place like this the price is irrelevant and the food takes the main stage. This place was just the opposite. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good, but just not what I would consider 5 star good. Mostly it's just over-priced kitsch.

Probably the best meal I've ever had. You can see the owner paid every possible attention to décor, ambiance, service and food presentation, which are all flawless. But the food is even better: unexpected, gorgeous tastes dancing on my palate, from the bread and butter to the last sip of tea, made the whole experience a transcendence across what Peruvian ingredients, creativity and love can do. Yes, only love explains what this restaurant achieves. It is expensive, but it deserves to be; if you can afford, don't even think of passing this lifetime experience.
