Did the 17 course tasting menu which was beautifully presented - dishes created as if they were in natural habitat. Was more impressed with the presentation than the taste. Standouts were the clay dessert, braised short ribs and octopus. Staff were attentive, polite and professional. Decor inside is very modern with open style kitchen. The restaurant has its own garden on the roof which grows roots, herbs and vegetables featured in the dishes.

Central did not disappoint -- it's clear why it is consistently ranked as one of the world's best restaurants. Each course was better than the last; a truly memorable and special dining experience.

We enjoyed the 17-course tasting menu. I don't eat meat, so they kindly changed the dishes a bit to accommodate my food restrictions. I also had the juice pairing with my meal. I must say this is one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted AMAZING. It was incredible to see how they used local ingredients in such a creative way. I was very impressed. The number four restaurant in the world did not disappoint and at $150 USD per person, including drinks, tax and tip, I prefer it over going to an overpriced American or European restaurant on the top 100 list that would cost four times as much! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Lima area.

Of the many five star restaurants that I've tried, the only thing I really remember from this one was the price. The food was beautiful and masterly presented, but very few of the entrées impressed me. The only two I even remember was the octopus dish and a piece of edible frozen clay. Usually when I eat at a place like this the price is irrelevant and the food takes the main stage. This place was just the opposite. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good, but just not what I would consider 5 star good. Mostly it's just over-priced kitsch.

Very good restaurant, but also very, very, very expensive, which is expected to a restaurant that was considered the 4th best in the world, according to the most prestigious ranking. The experience consist in menu with 12 or 18 dishes, with ingredientes extracted from different elevations in Peru (from -20 to almosto 4000 above sea level). It´s a once in a lifetime experience which I recommend, but it is not very recommended if you are not a foodie with very refined taste.

17 course menu is insanely delicious and very decent price for a restaurant like this. 17-course menu is about $120 p.p
