Put pencil to paper to draw this morning. It's been a while, but had fun sketching out this dungeon battle scene.

Epic! An awesome account of a harrowing battle by +Spencer Salyer! This is Dungeon Solitaire: Labyrinth of Souls at its best. Crazy turns like this really make the action come alive. Looks like he's started a campaign with this delve too.
After maybe 6 games of horrible luck, fate was finally shining on my dungeon delver after 9 turns deep and then as he began his retreat, the Lich appeared...

I used Potion of Prescience to check the next 3 cards. A torch, a 2 of coins, and The Moon. I played the Moon to make this fight worthwhile and moved the other 2 to the bottom of the deck (unsure if should have played the torch). Not much help.

I drink the Potion of Giant Strength and Go Berserk, determined to beat this Lich and make it out with a Heavenly Gem. The Lich revealed more treasure, a King's Hoard. Then, the earth shifted, stones tumbled, and the cleric ( Page of Cups ) fell... only to rise again as a puppet of the Lich.

Not accepting defeat, I go all in and invoke the Blessing of the High Goddess. A Holy Water appears and I strike with a 7 of Swords (+3) for a 10 to meet the Lich's 9 (+1) and the miserable creature evaporates into a malodorous mist as the cleric's animated corpse crumbles back to the cold stone floor. He'll be missed, but the Heavenly Gem is mine... for now.

Phew! Maybe I'll survive this delve, yet (especially since The Dragon was already played as an action card). That was an exciting turn, though, and wanted to share. :-)
