Kind of exciting....our success at the University of Kentucky College of Education in applying design thinking as a lever for reform in schools was picked up by the Associated Press today and appeared, among other places, in the online editions of the Oklahoma Star, Anchorage Daily News, Houston Chronicle, Miami Herald, and the San Francisco Chronicle (below). Go team!

Bill Goodman, host of "One to One" interviews dLab founder and director, John Nash, and filmmaker Ralph King discuss the PBS documentary "Extreme By Design."

Nash explains how his University of Kentucky students help to implement design thinking concepts in Kentucky schools.

King, an independent filmmaker who was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize while at the Wall Street Journal, discusses the moving experience of making the film, "Extreme by Design."

The film captures the experience of Stanford University students as they meet the challenge of creating affordable products to meet the basic needs of the world's poor using design thinking.
