We had an awful experience. At check in they told us Orbitz gave us the wrong price because we didn't belong to triple A. Orbitz never told us we had to be members. After much arguing they finally said OK we will honor it. We were in the lodge at the very end. First night heat. Next night when it was -6 there was no heat it was blowing cool air. I was in bed with hat and gloves on. At 3:30 pm room was not made up yet. We called they said they are getting to it. My husband also suggested space heater. First space heater didn't work. Second space heater worked until 2:AM. We froze Sunday night. I hope I don't get sick. For all that they offered a complementary breakfast. Really was disappointing. Don't stay there. The front desk set the mood and it was not good.

Went for a wedding and we all got stuck in the elevator on the way to the ceremony of five minutes. At the reception the main course was cold. The tent reception hall wasn't to impressive either, it was freezing cold and then after the heat was turned on was way too hot then again way too cold. And the final issue was that they forgot to give me a wake up call. I wouldn't recommend the Sagamore. Luxury hotel with low standards.

The professionalism of this hotel needs to be reviewed by the owners. It is a fact that to pull a firer alarm anywhere is a felony. To have one pulled in a hotel of this caliber and not be told it is a false alarm until one has to run downstairs to the front desk in complete panic is not right. Manager Jamie Smith was not only insensitive to my explanation of how upsetting this event was to me, having lived through a firer with my family. She felt not need to compensate in anyway. A cup of tea would of been fine. Very unprofessional as a manager.

This place is amazing! We had our wedding there this past weekend, and we couldn't have been happier. Their entire staff was so accommodating and they really go above and beyond when it comes to service. I was very impressed. Sarah Novick was our contact there and she was great! Very responsive to emails and phone calls, and helped to make sure that everything was taken care of. She is very good at her job and we appreciate her work, especially with there being so much on our plate :) I wish I could give shout outs to all of the staff! The bartender Bill remembered a number of people in our party by name the entire weekend, Kelly at the front desk was very accommodating as well with our rooms, Sue was the banquet manager I believe, who went above and beyond for us, I was just really impressed and felt really good about being there! Those are all of the unknowns when you go into the place, so I figured that was what is worth reviewing. The place is unbelievable impressive with the grounds, and the food was REALLY GOOD, which was important to us, and the views of lake george are amazing. We are really happy that were were able to have such a great wedding experience there!

I thought we'd plan a well-in-advance Thanksgiving weekeend here, but the website wasn't taking reservations as early as I needed to lock down those I sent an email to the reservation department requesting a return email or phone call to set up the dates and get a rate quote. I got no response whatsoever. Thanksgiving has been planned and reserved elsewhere.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful afternoon at the Ice Bar. We met friends and had a spectacular day. The ice sculptures were breathtaking. The staff was professional and friendly. We are marking the calendar for next year!!
