From a recent informal survey of 700 people: 91% of Christians said "faith does NOT mean "believing something even though it is not supported by evidence" while 72% of non-Christians said faith DOES mean that.

If you're going to attack someone's belief, better attack what they believe, not what you believe.

Why Is Evolution So Widely Believed?

Q: I love your work and your tireless efforts to spread the message of Christ in a intelligent, articulate manner! You have personally brought me to faith in Christ and delivered me, through your various articles and debates, from an atheistic-induced existential depression ( I really contemplated suicide for I thought: Since there is no afterlife... might as well go into oblivion sooner..... ); and for that I cannot thank you enough! I have 3 questions. 1) Regarding the theory of evolution, why is it so widely accepted in mainstream science?

A Question of Justice

Q: My question is about divine justice. You describe God as being essentially kind, fair, and compassionate, but I do not see how his justice can be exemplified with scenarios like this: Suppose a serial killer (...) gets caught and goes to prison. In prison he becomes a born-again Christian and all this sins are absolved from him. He then gets killed and goes to heaven (...) Some of this victims however were not Christian when they were murdered and so they go to hell when they die.

Can We Refer to Things that Are Not Present?

Q: Right now I'm working through my own understanding of time and God's relationship to it. I have been doing some reading in the Standford Philosophical Encyclopedia about time and I came across an article written by Ned Markosian and he presented some problems for the a-theorist, particularly the presentist which I know you are and have repeatedly affirmed in your work and I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this issue.

The Duties of Citizenship

Some Christians seem to have adopted a philosophy of consequentialism in regard to voting. Should Christians vote in the US presidential elections even if a single vote will not tip the balance?

Providing an articulate, intelligent voice in defense of biblical Christianity
Introduction
Reasonable Faith features the work of philosopher and theologian Dr. William Lane Craig in order to carry out its three-fold mission:

• to provide an articulate, intelligent voice for biblical Christianity in the public arena.

• to challenge unbelievers with the truth of biblical Christianity.

• to train Christians to state and defend Christian truth claims with greater effectiveness.
