U.S.A. residents are living in a society with a 50 year low murder rate, but we are seeing increased social unrest, economic and perceived political divide.

In a time where you can grab a unlimited information for anything you can think up, Build powerful computers for under $20, and a global economy that has even the most market savvy heads spin. You'd think we were living in the golden age.

But we are plagued by some of the same deep rooted issues that the civil rights movement and many others fought to drive out. All due to a media/political machine that we just can't seem to figure out how to tear down.

So what will it take for us to realize that our government is not the answer to our problems. When will we take responsibility to fix ourselves. We can't continue to allow our fears to drive our decision. Living in a time where homicide rates are at a 51 year low we should be driving for social and infrastructure change. To put our country back at the top. Not to assume we should be the best, but to enter the global market with a population of individuals ready to drive us into the future.

Sop being afraid and take a risk, on your neighbor, on a stranger on your family. If we let it fear will paralyze our nation and leave us frozen, left to be forgotten as a once great superpower.
