What I'd really like to see is SFWA the Musical with Hugh Jackman as John Scalzi wearing Mary Robinette Kowal's lovely gown from that one photo. ::nods::

For anyone who missed this in October, both versions are screening again next week. I'm quite tempted to go again myself.

If you have read Kim Stanley Robinson's Science In The Capital series (Forty Signs of Rain, Fifty Degrees Below, Sixty Days and Counting) this sort of ongoing thing is twice as interesting. IMuHO.

Caring, well-organized and thoughtful program. 12-step focus; attendance at onsite Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous meetings required. An Intensive Outpatient Program is available for continuing recovery assistance. Will help with finding clean & sober housing for post-treatment by request. Co-ed; separate men's and women's wings for living quarters, but classes and activities are mixed. Rooms have two or three beds; showers and toilets are separate but plentiful - over my 19 day stay I never had to wait to get into either. Bottom line: you'll get out it what you put into it, but if you are serious about recovery from alcohol or drug addiction, I recommend it. If you aren't, you'll be unhappy and wasting your time.
