When we started Rustik Travel a year ago, we decided not to be a travel agency curating travel itineraries but try to build a sustainable experiential travel ecosystem for travelers engaging the local community. Sustainability, in terms of creating livelihoods, protecting environment and preserving culture.
Sustainable Experiential Travel, in short.
Producing documentaries/films (or creating content) on the subject of sustainability is one of those many such initiatives that will be undertaken as we take this journey. The objective is to create awareness about being sensitive to various issues locally when we travel.
This documentary is the first of the many to come in the near future with quite a few in the pipeline. As a first effort, it may not be perfect and therefore please please do your feedback. If you like it, please do share to spread the word.
Those of you who may have a few project ideas on the subject, please do let us know. We would love to collaborate to see your project (documentary/film) go live by providing the necessary production support.
PM or write to us at

Did you know that the Kachendzonga mountain range looks like a giant 'Sleeping Buddha'?

Capture this iconic and dramatic view as you trek along the magical trail of Sandakphu-and-Phalut, which also offers the Himalayan dreamscape of four of the five highest peaks of the world. #Sikkim
