Hi again.

Resolved the cable problem and everything's working fine, but I'm sure I used to use Mindroid with Sleep as Android?

Anyone know how that works. I know I used to use Mindroid then it automatically went into sleep as Android, but the two simply won't work together anymore. Has everything changed, or is it just me?

Thanks in advance for the help

Just a quick question. What are the little blue circles with wiggly lines running from them in the sleep graph? I checked the documentation and couldn't find anything about them?

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having with a pair of Happy Electronics mindroid glasses I bought in 2015.

I've tested the glasses with the Galaxy S4 I had when I bought them and they still work fine with Mindroid on that handset. They're recognised by the system as an external USB device, the light lights up, and the glasses respond to the program the way they should.

The problem is that I want to use them with my new handset, an Xperia XZ as my wife is now using the S4 and is somewhat attached to it.

I've tried the glasses with the Xperia XZ running Android 7.0 and the latest version of mindroid with the OTG cable using a USB-C converter, but the handset doesn't recognise the USB device.

Given that the light never comes on I'm guessing it's not receiving any power from the handset. I'm wondering if this is the reason why the handset can't recognise the glasses as an external USB device. Even when I ask the handset to discover the device it still comes up empty.

I've successfully used the same USB-C converter to transfer data using various USB cables, but I'm wondering if there might be some other pin that's not active with data transfer that's needed for this device to work ad a serial device?

Would getting a dedicated USB-C OTG cable resolve the problem?

Is the architecture for the USB sub systems on the XZ incompatible with this kind of device?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm bipolar, and these things helped me through a bad patch a while back, and I kind of need at the moment.

I know I can use Google cardboard [I have a generic headset] but the headset is large and uncomfortable, and not great when your trying to relax or get to sleep!

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Barry

Just started using SAA again after a two year gap. Very impressed with the battery performance improvements, both with the device running the app and the wear integration.

Some thoughts I had on the way home from London, having taken the portrait of a great friend, and truly talented musician...
