My friend and I shared a Root Hill Beef (white cheddar, root vegetable crisps, bacon, smoked bbq sauce on brioche). My favorite part of the burger? The root vegetable crisps which reminded me of potato sticks, but way fresher and way better than those of my childhood. We also ordered fries, because what is a burger without fries and they were so good! Seasoned with who knows what, some skin left on and topped with sea salt; just wonderful. You can sit at decently-sized communal tables up front but I recommend sitting right at the front window so you can people-watch as you chow down. It's a great little place on 4th Avenue and they even have an outdoors seating area in the rear. I can't wait to return once the weather is warmer.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. The place looks modern, clean, and spacious. They serve beer here, though I refrained from drinking during work hour. The service was pretty quick, and the food was delicious, even though the price is a tad high (but it's well worth the price of admission). I had the salmon burger, and it came with a full salmon fillet (not just some salmon bits or salmon paste patties). The salmon was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the lettuce is fresh and crisp. I didn't try any sides (the burger alone was already $14), but I look forward to revisiting again in the future!
